Feliz navidad a toda la familia de home solutions, hoy quiero compartir la experiencia que tuvimos en la realización de nuestro pesebre.

Desde pequeños nos han enseñado la tradición de realizar el pesebre en épocas decembrina, lo cual disfrutamos mucho, ya que nos hace sentir en un momento familiar y dónde nos dejamos llevar por la creatividad.

Este 23 de diciembre del 2024 empezamos a armar el pesebre entre mi hermana Maryhec Santos, y mi persona Erick Delgado, o también llamado @erick836 por esta hermosa plataforma

Los adornos siempre lo tenemos guardados en un cuarto en específico para que se mantengan seguros, y evitar que algunas piezas sufran daños, de igual manera ciertas partes del pesebre se van deteriorando mientras va pasando el tiempo.

Merry Christmas to all the home solutions family, today I want to share the experience we had in the making of our nativity scene.

Since we were little we have been taught the tradition of making the nativity scene at Christmas time, which we enjoy very much, since it makes us feel in a familiar moment and where we let ourselves be carried away by creativity.

This December 23, 2024 my sister Maryhec Santos, and myself Erick Delgado, also known as @erick836 for this beautiful platform, will begin to build the nativity scene.

The ornaments are always kept in a specific room to keep them safe, and to prevent some pieces from being damaged, as well as certain parts of the nativity scene deteriorate as time goes by.

Sacando los adornos para empezar a armar el pesebre.

Mi hermana decidió que en la sala sería un buen lugar para realizarlo, empezamos eligiendo los papeles del pesebre que íbamos a utilizar, para luego empezar con la estructura base, y para ello buscamos algunas ramas delgadas para tratar de hacer un efecto montaña.

Taking out the ornaments to start assembling the nativity scene.

My sister decided that the living room would be a good place to do it, we started by choosing the papers of the crib that we were going to use, and then we started with the base structure, and for that we looked for some thin branches to try to make a mountain effect.

Con la ayuda de una pistola de silicon empezamos a pegar algunas puntas del papel para evitar que se mueva con los vientos, y al momento que vamos a empezar a colocar las piezas, ya que la gran mayoría de ellas son algo pesadas para la base de la estructura del pesebre.

With the help of a silicon gun we start gluing some ends of the paper to prevent it from moving with the winds, and at the moment we are going to start placing the pieces, since most of them are somewhat heavy for the base of the crib structure.

Luego de pegar algunas puntas del papel, nos pudimos dar cuenta que necesitábamos algo debajo para contener algo más de peso, ya que el pesebre de la casa cuenta con varias piezas.

Fuimos revisando en toda la casa para ver que podíamos utilizar como soporte, y entre ellas encontramos: Cajas, trozos de anime, piedras de tamaño regular.

After gluing a few ends of the paper together, we realized that we needed something underneath to hold more weight, since the crib has several pieces.

We went looking around the house to see what we could use as a support, and among them we found: Boxes, pieces of anime, regular sized stones.

Ya con todos estos materiales estamos listos para terminar la parte de la estructura del pesebre, tuvimos algunos problemas en el proceso, ya que una de las ramas pegaba con la ventana, por lo cual tuvimos que despegar algunas cosas para volverlas a acomodar, y queden más estables.

Luego de un largo rato pensando en cómo solucionar este pequeño problema, dimos con el clavo y logramos completar toda la estructura base de nuestro pesebre.

En la siguiente imagen podemos apreciar cómo nos quedó.

Now with all these materials we are ready to finish the structure of the crib, we had some problems in the process, as one of the branches hit the window, so we had to take off some things to rearrange them and make them more stable.

After a long time thinking about how to solve this little problem, we hit the nail on the head and were able to complete the entire base structure of our nativity scene.

Luego íbamos a proceder a colocar las piezas, pero se nos ocurrió una idea de hacer un puente.

Nos dejamos llevar por la creatividad, y empezamos a cortar trozos de cartón y sacar piezas de ahí para luego pegarlas.

Then we were going to proceed to place the pieces, but we came up with an idea to make a bridge.

We got creative, and started cutting pieces of cardboard and taking pieces out of it to glue them together.

Luego de tener todas las piezas listas para empezar a pegar, nos dimos cuenta que se nos había terminado el silicon, entonces bajé para el negocio más cercano a comprar uno.

After we had all the pieces ready to start gluing, we realized we were out of silicone, so I went down to the nearest store to buy some.

La foto la tomé en el camino, porque se me olvidó tomársela en el negocio.

Al llegar a la casa empezamos inmediatamente a pegar las piezas del puente, teníamos muchas ganas de ver cómo nos quedaría el resultado, ya que es primera vez que le añadimos un puente a nuestro pesebre.

I took the picture on the way, because I forgot to take it at the store.

When we arrived at the house we immediately started gluing the pieces of the bridge, we were eager to see how the result would look like, since it was the first time we added a bridge to our nativity scene.

Empezamos a pegar pieza por pieza, ya que le queríamos hacer a los lados unos tipos barandales, al principio pensamos que la silicona no iba a mantener fijo cada pieza, pero resultó un completo éxito.

Como un adorno extra le colocamos a los lados un tipo de guirnalda de color verde, se parece un poco al material que utilizan para los árboles de navidad.

Finalmente terminamos el puente, y nos quedó de esta manera.

We started gluing piece by piece, since we wanted to make some kind of railings on the sides. At first we thought that the silicone would not hold each piece in place, but it turned out to be a complete success.

As an extra decoration we placed a kind of green garland on the sides, it looks a bit like the material used for Christmas trees.

We finally finished the bridge, and it looked like this.

Luego de tener nuestro puente, procedimos a pegarlo con el silicon a nuestro pesebre.

After we had our bridge, we proceeded to glue it with the silicon to our crib.

Procedimos a pegar el puente con el silicon a nuestro pesebre en un lugar dónde pueda resaltar y sea sostenible.

Ahora sí, empezamos a colocar todas las piezas y nos quedó este resultando.

We proceed to glue the bridge with the silicon to our crib in a place where it can stand out and be sustainable.

Now we started to place all the pieces and we got this result.

El pesebre estaba casi listo, pero acá aún no acaba todo.

Nos dimos cuenta que faltaban luces, ya que algunas no funcionaban, entonces decimos bajar y comprar unas nuevas para que nuestro pesebre se vea mucho mejor.

The manger was almost ready, but it's not over yet.

We realized that some of the lights were not working, so we decided to go downstairs and buy some new ones to make our crib look much better.

Ahora sí, procedimos a colarles nuestras luces nuevas para terminar nuestro hermoso pesebre.

Now we proceeded to put our new lights on them to finish our beautiful nativity scene.

Le dedicamos bastante tiempo para poderlo terminar, pero valió completamente la pena, quedamos muy satisfechos con el resultado.

Al realizar nuestro pesebre en familia, recordamos que la verdadera magia de la navidad está en el amor y la unión.👯
