Ten amazing facts about your body
That the body is complicated, finely tuned and amazing is hardly any news. But did you know that you share 50 percent of your DNA with a banana and that you produce about three decades of string every day? Here are ten amazing (maybe unnecessary yet fun) body facts.

The skin is the body's largest body. Thickest skin we have on hand and soles and the thinnest skin is on the eyelid.

A newborn baby has about 300 legs in her skeleton. There are 94 more than one grown-up person!

All people have misery residents in their eyelashes. They live off the talc our skin produces and is harmless. But anyway, urk!

Every person has a unique tongue pressure. Just like the fingerprints.

The human eye can distinguish about one million different colors and shades. However, in tests, people have discovered a kind of super-color vision that can distinguish hundreds of millions of shades.

Human beings share about 50 percent of their DNA with bananas.

We have ten times more bacteria in our bodies than cells. The number of bacteria we carry is estimated to be around one hundred trillion. However, they represent only about two kilograms of our body weight.

A person produces about three decilitres of string per day. In one year, it equals 100 liters!
