The global graphene market is expected to surpass the $250 million mark by 2020, possibly reaching around $300 million by 2027.
Graphene can be described as one of the lightest, strongest, and thinnest, materials in the world.
There are now a variety of products available on the market that are utilizing this amazing material, you can find things like running shoes, graphene bike helmets, phone charging stickers, headphones, clothing, and a lot more.
Whether it's bike helmets, clothing, phone chargers, or car batteries, it's clear that this material is becoming much more prevalent.
And one new exciting prospect for graphene happens to rest in the golf market.
A highly controversial new golf product recently hit the market and it's a golf ball that's been infused with graphene.
Some suggest that the ball could ruin and destroy the game as we know it.
Despite the fear though, some professional golfers are already using them.
For example, Sergio Garcia recently won the Singapore Open tournament and he admitted to using graphene-infused golf balls. Garcia has signed a multiyear endorsement deal with Callaway to use its products.
It's alleged that Garcia averaged at least 19 yards longer by using the new ball, during the recent Singapore Open tournament, compared to his performance in 2017.
The graphene being infused into the golf ball allegedly helps to make the ball much stronger so that the outer core can be reduced and made thinner.
By using the graphene to increase the inner core of the ball, it allegedly increases the ball's speed and helps to reduce the spin on long shots.
If you are interested in purchasing some of the new graphene golf balls, or Chrome Soft balls rather, a pack of 12 costs roughly £38 and they are being sold by the sports giant Callaway.

I think this is going to change the way golfing is done but do you think it will cause problems because competitors ?
That's cool :O!
woah this is scary knowing that these guys already make the sport look easy as it is, and let me tell you from years of experience, golf is no easy game. Imagine Dustin Justin or Bubba Watson hitting a graphene infused ball... these guys hit it 330 yards on average as it is, and if conditions are promising, we've seen them hit it 400+. They either need prep the courses to be harder (longer rough cuts, narrower fairways, more hazards, etc.) or these guys are never going to shoot scores in the green
Wow Graphene golf balls !! its almost like cheating. lol!! though its so cool what this technology is doing , definitely the future is now and its only going to get better and less expensive , I think its awesome ! Thanks for sharing , upped and resteemed !!😀👍👍👍💕
hii @doitvoluntarily, Very informative article sports related, I am also a sports man but did not know much about golf because I play cricket and know about this. I think you are talking about the new technology used in golf balls as made by Graphene. that< amazing addition in market. I am in the favour of this. Thanks friend for updates. My appreciations and support for you.
Latest elements and metals can be lighter and cheaper and tightest. as NASA is also developing some good tech and SpaceX also following for reusable rockets, the world is changing, i hope, for a better. will save too much energy. same goes for Graphene. :-)
Great post...
Thank for sharing....
I am hearing about this material for the first time and this is so interesting to hear about it. A material which is 10x stronger and flexible than steel is amazing.
It is not exactly true. It is a comparison in weight. But you are comparing something that is a thin sheet, and only a thin sheet to something that is most often a solid block. 2D applications vs 3D applications.
Sir thanks for your information about golf material . Appreciate this, keep giving us update.
Writing about graphene on a graphene based social media platform is very disconcerting.
Why don't these golf people just make giant bucky-balls?
The material is amazing. Hopefully more useful and easier to get. I think the material is very useful for other purposes. Thank you for sharing knowledge @doitvoluntarily.
You are most welcome to Savar Golf Club at Dhaka in Bangladesh. Siddikur Rahman is only our famous golf player, i hope you know him.Ya now a days the global graphene market is expected to surpass the $250 million mark by 2020 probably it will reaching around $300 million by 2027-2030. @doitvoluntarily
no i don't know him😂😂
Very interesting news. I didn't even know there was such a metal. This is very pleased that scientists are developing new tools for the manufacture of necessary and useful for society things.
I must admit that I am learning about this product "Graphene" according to the characteristics presented "It is more than 100 times more resistant than steel, but it is also very flexible, stretchable and almost transparent" makes me think that it could be useful for many things , not only in the golf course, I do not know the game of golf, I could not say if it is favorable or counterproductive to use Graphene in the balls
Thank you very much dear friend @doitvoluntarily for sharing this information
🎴 congenial & wonderful!
I love this kind of discovery article. I have never heard of this new material.
Golfers can always go back to scoring par with wooden clubs, for antiquities sake....but wow this stuff can clean sea water?.... with tech like this and crypto flanking, it looks like the new is going to challenge the fiat system even more so.
Thanks for the knowledge.
It was interesting to read your post, unfortunately golf is not very popular in my country and also thank you for support. I wish you a great day)
I'm amazed by the graphene didn't know it existed! So cool
Saludos.
the knowledge you give is very meaningful to us who read it, very useful information, hopefully can be applied in everyday life, success always for you @doitvoluntarily😊
This is great flayed golf it's almost like.doitvoluntarily
best post technology market
Prettt cool stuff, engineer here so new technology always amazes and inspires me.
My opinion here is that, if we are advancing as a race and making technological advancements...of course we should be utilizing it! Why hold ourselves back?
I get it, longer drives, easier game...but the courses will just have to adapt to the advancements made with technology. Sure that is no easy task, but newer courses will be designed and pro tours will move on to those locations if the old ones cannot adapt.
Things change, keep up, or move out of the way.
Thanks for sharing.
Golf is a really funny Sport! Interesting post!

I'd love to try the Graphene balls!
You think that's crazy? Try exchanging a normal soccer/foot ball with a graphene ball. No more heading the ball injuries and goals could be made from 3/4 of the field away from the net, though if someone got in the way of the ball in between the kicker and the goal it might be going so fast and would be so unbending that it would break bones! ;-)
