Plan your meal before heading to any non vegan restaurant. Look up the menu online. If they have an allergen section it's very helpful.
Be nice, even when others don't get it.
Look for online support groups and like minded people.
Make sure you are eating enough food.
Supplement with a B12 vitamin.
Be easy on yourself. Mistakes will happen.
