STIFADO

INGREDIENTS

1.2 kg meat life
1 kg of onion
4 garlic cloves
100 ml of oil
2 bay leaves
1 teaspoon cumin
1 small red box in the broth
3 tablespoons olive oil

METHOD OF PREPARATION

Have you ever eaten stifado? If not, now is the time to try and you can prepare it yourself after a simple recipe!

1. In a thick-walled pot, the oil is warmed and all the meat cut into cubes and crushed by any skin. Then, next to the browned meat on all sides, add the onion cut fish.

2. After the onions are soaked, add tomatoes or tomato juice and 200 ml of water. Then add vinegar, garlic, caraway, bay leaves, salt, pepper and thyme.

3. Leave to boil covered with lid for about an hour and shake the bowl from time to time. Meanwhile, boil potatoes simply in salt water.

4. If the meat is boiled, put the potatoes and cook for another 5 minutes, then bring the food to the table.
