Fire control in the plastic factory in Lalbagh

Sujon Keari: A plastic factory fire in Lalbagh Alihat, Old Dhaka happened. The fire started on Thursday at 11:30 pm on Thursday. Later, 15 units of Fire Service brought the fire under control at 1:00 pm for one and a half hours.

Fire Service Headquarters informed that 15 fire units of Fire Service brought fire on the spot after the news. However, the amount of damage or loss of fire can not be ascertained.

Locals informed that the fire started from a cub in the first place. After a few minutes they spread around the neighborhood. In addition to plastic factories in burnt cottages, there were several business establishments, including several breakers. Due to Eid holidays there was no one in these factories and shops.
Chakbazar Police Station OC Shamimur Rashid Talukder said, 8 to 10 shops were burnt down. There were no casualties in this incident.

Fire Service Dhaka Divisional Deputy Director Debashish Bardhan said, the fire spread rapidly due to having plastic and plastic chemicals. For the same reason, smoke-smoke is created. It took a little while to fire the fire. An investigation committee will be formed to know the cause and damage to the fire. The committee will investigate and tell the details.
