Hello everyone!!!
I was reading and reading the different methods to grow carrots, but I really found it difficult to get carrot seeds, I suppose in some nursery in another region because I did not find them here.
That's why asking my mom that she also likes gardening as I did was how I discovered that they can sprout, that is, sprout from a part already cut from it.
Many vegetables, despite having been cut, tend to sprout again, as a sign of survival and as a sign of the great power of nature, which always clings to life. Today we are going to see how we can do to recover a carrot after having eaten much of the root and keeping the top. Very interesting to do at home and especially if we have children, who come close to the magic of nature.

The steps are simple, we must take the top of the carrot and put it in water a few days to see how it evolves, taking care that it does not rot (happens enough times) for it is better to observe the state of the carrot before doing the experiment.
This process takes several days.
First we take the carrot and cut the top part, that will be what we will take advantage of.
Once cut it is cleaned with water and placed in a small container with a little water, not covering it completely as it can rot.

After about 7 days we began to observe the first shoots, we left it in water for a few more days in constant observation.
After 10 days we proceed to pass it to land.

Leave 1 inch uncovered from above ground and there we place our carrot sprout. You can also sow directly in a pot with depth so that the roots germinate well.

Water well so that the soil remains moist and the plant continues to develop.
With the days we can see if our experiment worked and we reap 1 or even 2 carrots.

Much success in your experiment.
