A conversation with @eco-alex - How do we react to COVID? New beginnings

in #dsound4 years ago

A conversation with @eco-alex in which we cover a wide range of subjects, mostly looking at my desire to build an eco community somewhere in the Pyrenees Mountains. Alex has experience with these subjects so his wisdom is invaluable.

Film collaboration, biotecture, successful systems of governance, tokenised communities, personal histories and more.

Wonderful chat right up my street. I am looking to get some land and create a social farming project for mental health treatments. Of course with Earthships, I have dropped a line to Alex in the past. Still waiting for the universe to let me know the time is right. Tried signing up to the ecovillage website but won't let me for some reason 💯🐒

Happy to know the conversation was enjoyable for you. I would like in the future to record more of these kind of conversations with an array of personalities, but always focused on this kind of topic. If only there were more days in the week! haha.

I wonder if @eco-alex has the answer to your question relating to his website?

Everything worked fine for me.

Would be good and more in demand these day as the masses catch up. Who's know once I have my project underway you'll have me on haha 💯🐒

thanks for sharing this sam! it was great to listen back and remeber all these points! Yeah my vision shifts in some ways.. but i would like to say.. there is one part, one word.. that will not be moved.. and that is DECENTRALIZTION!

This new vision really just further decentralises community.. because each person or small group of people have their own survival and even comfort provided to them by their homes. Power, water, food, and comfort.. for free.. no bills.. and nothing to do to make that happen apart from build it properly..

anyways.. nice share! lets chat soon.. im sure there will be more to talk about!

Great stuff Alex. Am glad we did this. Learned a lot.

Experience counts for so much!

Great you are able to shift you vision without compromising the core. What was it Bruce Lee used to say? Be the water, not the cup.

Looking forward to the next catch up... Hey, we could even start a regular show! Though perhaps I'm getting a little over optimistic now ;)
