Gaming is one of the largest, and fastest growing categories of video creation and consumption. Additionally, it's one of the most monetized with an estimated $160M in tips alone per year. Additionally, we're getting to a point where eSports are quickly skyrocketing in popularity along with the money surrounding them.

If YouTube loses gaming, it won't matter how the rest of the content is doing.

you make a good point, hm. eSports is not even in its blooming phase yet. The next 10 years will be out of this world for gaming/eSports. With the shift from AR to VR, who knows what might happen. Large VR marketplaces. The first trillionaire will be made in the next decade or so :).

Could definitely be! eSports potential with VR is interesting too, could be a lot more interesting watching an eSports tournament where everyone is in VR than where everyone's sitting at a desk haha

exactly. something similar to ready player one if you've seen it !
