For the last week or so, I have had to live off of money that is sent to me from a friend in Switzerland… and this whole experience has my mind screaming, “Hurry the fuck up crypto!! The current system sucks balls!”

Now, to put a few things into perspective, I should probably explain a few things. I have been traveling with a Doctor for the last few years, doing alternative treatments for people. Most of which are free. One of the things that brings us money (besides donations(wink, wink. Nudge, nudge)) are the psychic readings the Doctor does over the phone; paid through PayPal.

Now, neither of us have a bank account, which means no debit or credit cards or any such means you would normally access money. So anytime we need money from the PayPal account, we have to do this Horse and Pony circus act to receive OUR #money. Which I have allowed to frustrate me way to much but it still raises the question; why is it so complicated (and expensive) to get your money?

Think about it. This is the age of technology and easy transference of information, our “wealth” is already digitized and stored in computer servers somewhere of the bank. So, anytime you are transferring funds (be it either giving out a #loan or just a purchase with your debit card) you are simply moving digital numbers, from one server to another. There is no tangible object going from place to place, just electronic digits.

We know this, yet we allow ourselves to be overcharged anyways! What are they charging us for?

This brings me back to my original story of receiving money from @PayPal. To receive money we have to go from the PayPal to a friends bank account and from there he sends it through @WesternUnion. Now, WU has two different payment types, one to receive it today and another to receive it tomorrow. $5 and $20 respectively… now think about that… So if you don’t want to pay an extra $15 , they put a timer on YOUR funds. You know, kind of like extortion?

There is no excess work involved to receive your money straight away from the next day. ‘Tis just a matter of hitting the “enter” key more quickly, no? So why do they need $15 for it? Than, of course, there is the second fee you pay the bank to actually receive your money in person. $25 in total just to access MY money in a foreign country…

We no longer need these 3rd party business’ anymore. There system is designed to straight up rob and extort the people. Who made these people in charge of our money? Do we really even need them anymore? Did we ever? I don't think so, not with the possibilities the internet, computers and Blockchain technology provide us with. Any physical entity of wealth or asset management is no longer necessary and has now even become a waste of our money.

The possibility of expanded freedom for the people is astounding and the vision of the potential unfolding future can be just as inspiring. Once the people can be in charge of their own information and creations and no longer held at bay by the powers that be, what could we accomplish?

We are heading into the age of maturity as a species; mama bird is giving us the boot out of the nest. We either fly high into the infinite potential freedom or we fall again, crashing in a spectacular blaze of glory… We will soon have the tools that will allows us to live as a civilization without the need of a higher authority. We will soon be responsible for ourselves; our own actions, our own assets. What do we, as a species, choose for ourselves this time?
