So you don't like borders? You don't think immigration and travel to your country should be restricted in the name of freedom?

Okay. Prove it.

Leave your doors open at night to your house, apartment, etc. If people come into your apartment do not try to kick them out.

Do you think DACA is important?

Then when people come into your house and they start eating your food, that's okay YOU can buy more food. When their children need education and there is a cost involved, that's okay YOU can pay for that too.

What about your own kids? They were already here so they don't qualify. What if you don't have enough money for food, or education for your own kids and you think you should stop paying for these other people who came into your house? What are you attacking the "dreamers"?!? I mean you and your children must have no dreams.

Do you think people that just decide to enter without invitation should be given amnesty?

Okay then allow the people that enter your house to change their mailing address to your house, and if you have keys or garage door openers and the such make sure you give those to them too.

Do you have a problem with proposals to eject criminals that are illegal immigrants as you think it is racist and targeting all immigrants?

Okay, then if one of those people decides to rape your wife, child, or significant other then you are okay with that right? If you do somehow kick them out of your house you are not going to try to stop them from coming back in right?

If things go wrong and you decide to close your doors...

Will it be okay if we start calling you a racist?

Will you be a racist?

Is the fact that there is a higher percentage of people who cause problems in your house coming from a specific location or being a specific ethnicity actually YOUR fault?

Are you truly trying to pick on a specific race, or just trying to solve the problem the only way you've come up with?

Could this be why we have doors?

Could this be why we have locks?

Could this be why when you pay for food it belongs to you?

Could this be why when you pay for a house, or rent a living space, it is yours during that time?

Do you have a magical ability to reprogram humans so none of these human nature problems exist so that you don't need doors, locks, property/food that belongs to you, etc?

Should you have to pay for someone else?

Should you have to pay to educate someone else? How about if you are paying to educate them, but your children don't get an equal education? Afterall when it comes to DACA what are essentially trespassers are being given opportunities that citizens born here, and those that LEGALLY immigrated do not have.

Not to mention DACA was not a law. It was a STATEMENT that they were going to stop enforcing the laws that existed. It was never passed as an actual law, amendment, or anything of the sort. They just made a statement that they were going to stop enforcing laws that already existed.

Apples and Oranges

Now you may think this entire comparison of your house is not the same as a comparison to nations. You are correct in one aspect. SIZE, and SCOPE.

Effectively it IS the same thing just a nation is much larger, and the family that lives in it is called its citizens.

There are some problems that are ACTUALLY worse in the larger aspect than even the house scenario.

We talk about dreamers, and allowing immigrants in illegal or not and we ignore the homeless, and those who cannot get educations, and work that ARE actual citizens.

It might be different if we were taking care of the citizens and had funds, resources, and jobs left over after all of our citizens were cared for. That is NOT the case. In fact, the homeless population is growing. Many of them are educated, skilled, and often even have jobs. They simply cannot afford to pay for any type of living space and food.

Yet, we shouldn't try to stop people who ILLEGALLY enter our country. That's racist! That's anti-[insert religious faith here]!

It is also worse in other ways

Let's return to the previous example where we are talking about your home.

Somewhere not far from you is a place that is producing a lot of children and they are getting to an age where they will need things.

The people there go put out signs outside their house, and others. Do you know what is on that sign?

Go to Your address here for free housing, food, and education.

They don't pay for their own children and family members. Why should they? They can just send them to you and they know you'll pay for it.

If you don't then people will start calling you a racist or some other derogatory term and the most important thing in the world is that you don't get called bad names. You'll live in shit, and squalor as long as people don't label you with some bad derogatory label.

You'll allow them to shit in your living room, and piss on your carpet as long as you don't get called a racist, bigot, sexist, or anti-[religion] label.

Those labels hurt you so much. So much you're also willing to let your family sleep in shit, and struggle.

Yeah, but X called that other house a shithole

Well, since they are not having to pay to educate their children and have none of the social net, and welfare crap we are giving to anyone that trespasses then they might not be a shithole. They have a lot less they have to pay for.

Your place will likely become a shithole as that dumb mentality is only realistic until you run out of other people's money. Don't believe me. Take a look at San Francisco a bastion of these ideas... Make sure you pick up a copy of their POO MAP APP so you can avoid the human feces and such that is becoming a problem there.

If you are not wealthy make sure you bring your tent so you can live in one of the homeless tent cities. That's okay though as they can virtue signal about being a sanctuary city. They can virtue signal and dance to that while carefully avoiding the literal shitty neighborhoods thanks to the app telling them what to avoid. Meanwhile they will gladly accept trespassers and give them sanctuary while you live in a tent.

They want to spread that model across the entire country. They make sure to call anyone that challenges these ideas racist, homophobes, anti-[religion], etc.

Shame them into accepting and even promoting the lunacy.

Ignoring reality.

Those not sleeping in tents are arrogant hypocrites as they don't open their doors and invite the people they give sanctuary to into their homes to sleep on their floors, furniture, and spare bedrooms. No, instead they virtue signal about how they support sanctuary cities and don't seem to give a shit about the actual citizens that are already here and suffering.

All that matters to them is globalism. One world. One house open to all.

No matter how stupid that is.

How many of you have stopped to think about the fact that the people pushing most for allowing all immigrants and throwing out the racist label often have at least ONE huge house, if not several? How many of those people are opening their doors and allowing people to come live in their house while they feed them, educate them, etc.? How many of those people live behind a wall while bashing the idea of a border wall? How many of them live in walled communities?

The hypocrisy is getting so deep that wading boots are having it spill over the top.

Sort:

There is a huge problem with this tact at approach for this argument,

There really shouldn't be any country borders, because countries are imaginary entities.
However, the closer you get to your actual property, the more right you have to say to keep out.

Tens of thousands of UN soldiers could be living in The US, and no one would know.

A heard of muslims could come together and start a city in the Dakotas, like LDS started a city in Utah, and no one would know, or really care.

However, the truth is these "immigrants" are not coming to become part of our society, they are coming to be a scab on the system. To not integrate, but destroy. And they are coming to our cities, our actual property.

Further, those behind DACA have other plans. They are not nice souls, who want to help. They are hell bent on destruction. They want as many welfare burdens as possible. They want disruption. They want societal destruction.

So, although you make some good points, I do not agree, because I do not believe the premises are correct.

Nancy should not be opening up her house, she should be being tried for treason against america.

Nancy should not be opening up her house, she should be being tried for treason against america.

KA and CHING

You missed the point of this article and why I took this approach.

You are focused on the motives of the big actors pushing this and using propaganda against the people.

I am trying to get the people to see the reality of this. Asking them to think of this in terms of their home, and their property will hopefully personalize it more and perhaps they'll begin to shake off some of this bullshit propaganda.

The big actors also want a lot of illegals here so they can get their votes.

I think you did a good job acknowledging the challenges in comparison due to scale. The pairing of open borders and a welfare state, regardless of scale, removes the incentive for participation in work and decreases the value of the work by active participants since a fraction will be going to care for others. While the USD has plenty of help from the reserve's printing, this pairing is removing buying power at an even more accelerated rate and pushing more citizens toward the poverty line.

I consider it simplistic to label all immigrants as intentionally destructive or malicious, it is likely that many don't consider national implications of their immigration in comparison to their personal gain (clearly that is ignorant, but that is not the argument). A value-contributing immigrant won't ignore the opportunity to pursue happiness offered by open immigration.

STATEMENT that they were going to stop enforcing the laws that existed
how is that even legal?.

It isn't. They don't seem to care about legality unless they can use it against their enemy.

Voted and resteemed! There was this guy that commented in one of my posts about immigration in Europe that I was doing a good job telling that Europe was in a verge of an apocalypse and that i was posting bull****. I answered him very politely, to his surprise, and then i wrote my views about immigration, and I posted it again on my blog.

Your post is a long version of pretty much what I think:

https://steemit.com/informationwar/@metalmag25/well-i-want-to-express-my-personal-views-on-immigration-in-general-here-on-steemit

Brilliant, not only all this, but some rich dude is paying all travel expenses for your new guests to get to your house and if you call for help from authorities you may find yourself asked to leave your home for your bad behavior. This would be a good fiction story, but sad to say, it some places this is what appears to be happening. Thank you for keeping it real. I am all for helping others and for caring, but there has to be balance and courtesy by all parties involved. When others are in need, we should by all means help them as we can, but not if it means the destruction of a way of life, and a house full of poo.

My family and I like helping people. Yet I've used the analogy with my family of a raft. The raft only has so much buoyancy. No matter how many people we want to help the raft can only hold so many without sinking, so while we should help people when we can we also need to be careful not to sink the raft.

Now if anyone could trespass and jump on the raft without invitation its likely we'd all be doomed.

I added a video as a reply to the post for more visibility, but the video addresses your point about the human desire to help others, and why mass immigration to the US won't help!

the raft aint that big

I think the term racist has lost a lot of its power due to misuse and overuse ever since ~2010. A lot of people who get cornered and can't win an argument or discussion on the basis of actual facts and legitimate reasoning just give up and hurl the term "racist" at the person they're talking to.

I also think the open borders thing is really stupid. Japan has immigration laws much much stricter than ours and do you hear anyone talking about how racist the Japanese are? How about Canadians? Their immigration system is more strictly enforced than ours from what I've gathered. Are they all racists? Or do they actually have a shred of common sense left unlike many Americans?

The majority of nations (except the EU) have stricter laws, and stricter treatment of those that break those laws when it comes to illegal immigration (aka trespassing/invasion).

Most people these days don't seem to think deeply enough about things to make that connection.

The japanese are pretty damn racist, but they are very open about it and polite about it. So sorry, Japanese only, please! They are also culturally and racially monolithic

Leave your doors open at night to your house, apartment, etc. If people come into your apartment do not try to kick them out.

Communism: do with other's property what you will not do with your own properties.

Okay, then if one of those people decides to rape your wife, child, or significant other then you are okay with that right? If you do somehow kick them out of your house you are not going to try to stop them from coming back in right?

Yes. Progressives think everybody must be allowed to go anywhere they wanted. And when they learn that most rapes are done by those who enter freely and illegally they say that "not all of them have done it".

Well, until it is happening to themselves. When some of those illegal inmigrants stole something from their haouses, then they would shoot them if they had a gun, which they don't want to have.

Will you be a racist?

Of course not. I am not against people from other countries to enter mine. But they should be here for something which doesn't cause problems.

Of course not. I am not against people from other countries to enter mine. But they should be here for something which doesn't cause problems.

And by invitation... just like inviting someone into your house.

good fences make good neighbors.
walls are even better.

I love it! I think they already put the signs on their lawn! "hate has no home here" someone should make an app to direct illegal aliens to go live at their houses.

Sure. I think when people are promoting sanctuary cities, DACA and such I'll start asking for their address and if it is in person make a show of writing it down.

I'll tell them I'm making sure to give out their address so people know which house is open for them to go live in and get free food, shelter, etc.

The ironic thing is most of the people saying things like "hate has no home", or "ban hate speech" and things like that are some of the most hateful people I see at the moment. To me it clearly has a home. They are some of the most intolerant, authoritarian people on the planet at the moment. "We love free speech!" as long as you say only what we want to hear. Otherwise, they'll ban you because you are hateful... even if you are not.

They are so full of hate they can't see through the handmade "Racist Pig President!" signs on the back of their Prius.

Yep. Their natural environment has a label. Hypocrisy. It has a sub-zone called Irony.

Maybe they mean that hate has no home there because it is already full to the brim with hatred, like a no vacancy sign for more hatred.

Wading boots? Nope ya need a personal submarine!

Wading boots work for me at the moment only because I don't leave my house much. If I did then yeah I'd need a submarine or a spaceship or something.

I think this is a very useful idea or idea, I got many criteria after understanding your writing, keep giving the best to the world community, thanks, @ derryichsan

The American worker can't compete with people willing to live two to three families to a household at substandard wages. Illegals think that seven fifty an hour is good money and in a lot of instances the mother is collecting food stamps for the kids by telling them dad lives in Mexico while he is really across town at his job, grandma sitting at home babysitting the kids while mom is working a part time job collecting benefits. Most have infiltrated the manufacturing arena through temporary employment agencies using false identification and social security cards, Americans can't compete with low wage workers accepting substandard wages in exchange for their labor and willing to live at a disadvantage to the American worker.

Well due to minimum wage and such American Workers that are CITIZENS and LEGAL are not permitted to accept wages less than minimum wage though many of them would to survive.

So if illegal immigration is permitted, and encouraged the Illegals also have a benefit that they've already broken the law coming here. They now get to use actual free market contractual negotiation when the legal citizens are not allowed to do this.

You expressed your opinion with logical example. Immigration should be mandatory. The best thing to avoid these incident by enforcing strict law. Keep sharing @dwinblood

Too many people have too much they didn't have to sacrifice for. Throw in guilt and they have to spend someone else's money to feel better.
"Actions Speak Louder Than Words" is being turned on it's head. Now, words calling "someone else" into action is considered to be of real value.
WTF!

Do I like borders?
The answer is...

@dwinblood No nancy won't do that. They want to show the world that they are angels but instead they are on the devil's side.

So your argument here is that anyone who rejects the socialist claim of government ownership of all land within the borders must also reject the capitalist claim of individual ownership of their own houses?

Nope. My argument is if I am forced to allow trespassers to be in my nation, then that is no different than forcing me to allow them into my home. This is especially true when I am also forced to pay for their education, their food, and their lodging. That list could be bigger, but the ones I listed should suffice to make my point.

You see the issue with Trump and many other people is NOT against immigration. It is against trespassing and invasion. If their are laws, enforce them.

The thing about DACA for example. That is not about cancelling a LAW. DACA is not a law. It was a memo indicating they were going to stop enforcing the LAW which isn't exactly legal in the first place.

So anyone against DACA is basically at the base saying enforce the LAW.

If there is going to be a LAW to allow trespassers to enter our country on a whim and force enslave the citizens to then clothe, feed, house, and employ them then that should be passed as an actual LAW or Amendment to the constitution.

Then at least the citizens will at least know which politicians to FIRE when it comes election time if they are not keen to being forced to do these things.

The entire argument of this post was to simply show the hypocrisy of people like Nancy Pelosi and other mega rich people in demanding that the rest of us allow criminals. Yes, they can ALL be called that if they are illegal immigrants as they broke the law and trespassed.

If we are then being enslaved to them, and they are getting special treatment then it could also be considered an invasion. This is especially true if they have no intentions of integrating, and instead want to force us to adapt to their desires. (I am not saying all illegal immigrants are this).

I am not anti-immigration. As long as it is merit based, and limited not to take away from citizens that are already here. As long as those immigrating here are immigrating here to be part of our communities, our society, etc rather than coming here to remake our communities, and society into something closer to where they left.

I am against the government forcing me to take care of anyone else. Though I very much support voluntarily doing so. My wife and I have helped quite a few people we didn't have to at the expense of our own family. So I am not advocating not helping people. I am advocating not dragging people on to the raft when we are not taking care of the people that are already on it. All that leads to is sinking.

"I am against the government forcing me to take care of anyone else. Though I very much support voluntarily doing so."

I'm with you on this, but I don't think the federal government has any legitimate right to decide who goes where. If you or I own property and choose to rent it out or sell it to illegal immigrants, then anyone who claims the right to evict them from that property is claiming to be the true owner of the property in question. It's ultimately a matter of socialism versus capitalism. Government controlled borders and deportation depend on government ownership of everything inside those borders and the rejection of our individual property rights.

It's certainly wrong that your money is forcibly taken to provide for illegal immigrants, but the people enforcing that are the ones who should be held accountable. Supporting the people who have so abused you and demanding that they also abuse illegal immigrants is counterproductive.

"If their are laws, enforce them."

If a law is unethical, then enforcing it is wrong. Following orders or following the law is no excuse for acting unethically. Each of us is still responsible for our own actions.
