How often do you check the price? Once a day? Every hour? Every 10 minutes? Most people I speak to check the price of bitcoin at least four to five times a day. Is this unhealthy to be constantly watching the price movement. Does this lead to anxiety or could lead to other mental health problems? You see for most people it can easily become an overwhelming habit just like watching porn online or playing video games. One needs to moderate how much time they spend tracking the crypto market. It is never a good idea to refuse to take a day off from observing the market and reading news about bitcoin. At some point you need to take a long break and let whatever happens to the price happen. After all you should not worry about something you have no control over - that is what builds up the stress levels in a person.
You also need to look at your life and ensure you are not becoming a hermit and damaging any social life you may have, as you wait for the next big movement in bitcoin. The next big movement could be years away. You cannot tell me you are going to watch every single day the price of bitcoin until you recover the money you invested. Or watch everyday until bitcoin goes to $1,000,000. Watching the price of bitcoin hourly is like a farmer watching a field of vegetables grow hourly. Growth and failure happens whether you are watching or not. What is important is you take time out for yourself. So please ensure you have long breaks and I mean weeks away from bitcoin and then return to it. If you are unable to go a week without watching the bitcoin price, then you indeed have a problem that you won’t admit too. In the end it may change the person you are if it has not already :-(
So please find time for yourself away from bitcoin and as always keep HODL’ing 😊
