Women with intelligence get in bed much more fun than silly "pacifiers", scientists say. Intelligence, however, should not be simple, but emotional, writes the Daily Telegraph.
This is what is called the ability to understand and understand their own emotions and the emotions of others on the basis of intellectual processes. In other words, emotional intelligence, in their opinion, includes 4 parts:
- the ability to perceive or to feel emotions (both his own and the other person);
- the ability to channel your emotions to help your mind;
- ability to understand what an emotion expresses;
- ability to manage emotions.
A study involving about 2 thousand female twins showed that the higher the coefficient of emotional intelligence, the more often a woman is able to have an orgasm. Accordingly, low levels of EI are a risk factor leading to anorgasmia — lack of orgasm, the most common form of sexual disorder among women.
According to one of the co-authors of the work, British Professor Tim Spector, the results of the study show that high rates of emotional intelligence are a good life advantage in different areas, including personal life. He is confident that the work will help in the creation of psychological methods of treatment of anorgasmia and improve the quality of sexual life of many women.
About 2,000 volunteers-female twins from the United Kingdom aged 18 to 83-agreed to answer researchers ' questions in order to identify the causes of sexual disorders. The participation of twins in such matters initially excludes errors of genetic factors, as well as environmental factors.
Participants filled out a questionnaire detailing their sexual behavior, and responded to a test designed to reveal their emotional intelligence quotient.
The study found a link between high emotional intelligence and the frequency of orgasms.
The head of the research team, psychologist Andrea berry from king's College, noted that emotional intelligence has the most direct impact on a woman's sexual behavior, affecting her ability to Express her sexual desires to a partner. There may also be a close relationship between emotional intelligence and the ability to fantasize during sex.
