Beer: It's an alcoholic beverage made from fermentation of yeast and malt which is then flavoured with hops.
Beer appears to be the oldest and the most consumed alcoholic drink in the world and the third drink after water.
Beer is brewed from cereal grains and the common cereal used is malted barley. Others are wheat, maize (corn) and rice.

The Brewing Process
The brewing process consist of the fermentation of starch sugar in the wort to produce alcohol and carbonation.
Addition of hops to add bitterness which the hops also act as a natural preservative and stabilizing agent.
Other flavouring agents such as herbs, gruit, or fruits may be included or used instead of hops.
Carbonation effect is often removed during processing and replaced with forced carbonation in commercial brewing.
The strength (alcohol content) of modern beer is normally around 4-6% alcohol by volume (ABV). It may vary between 0.5% to 20%.
Packaging/Distribution
Beer is mostly packaged and distributed in bottles and cans and wrapped in cartons or crates.
It's sold in the market but never found missing particularly in pubs and bars.
Usage
Not for persons below 18 years and drink responsibly.
