I also encourage everyone to do the same - we all have something that we no longer need or use and can offer it to others. I have been giving books away in McDonald's after work and on weekends but few would take them - they are new and mostly self-help and motivational books. I still have a few left.
I can also offer silver coins that I buy in quantity and sell at my cost in small quantities. Plus odds and ends that I'll "dig up".
