Last year HBD was generating 20% APR, not 15%. It takes discipline to leave HBD in savings, but it becomes easier when you realise how expensive it is to take it out.

I am kicking myself that I withdrew any of it.

I now treat it like superannuation/ 401K. It needs to only be taken out in retirement.

If I need liquid HBD then I need to be posting more often and either wait or convert Hive over.

That's a good way to see it. Savings for retirement. The big question is, when will be the right time to retire from Hive? At what age? !LOLZ

I tried to starte a professional hide and seek team but it didn't work out.
Turns out good players are hard to find.

I wouldn’t retire from Hive. There's a community called Silver Bloggers of older Hive users, mostly retired.

Omg, that's great. The only way for us to retire from Hive is leaving this world. !LOLZ

Yep. But think of the compound interest in HBD savings if you don't touch it until you retire. For me that’s only 20 years away.

And if you periodically keep adding new funds to your savings. That account would be huge.
