Iran, the calm before the storm. Conflict between US and Iran expected

Donald Trump tweeted: 

 To Iranian President Rouhani: NEVER, EVER THREATEN THE UNITED STATES AGAIN OR YOU WILL SUFFER CONSEQUENCES THE LIKES OF WHICH FEW THROUGHOUT HISTORY HAVE EVER SUFFERED BEFORE. WE ARE NO LONGER A COUNTRY THAT WILL STAND FOR YOUR DEMENTED WORDS OF VIOLENCE & DEATH. BE CAUTIOUS! 

While it is rather ironic coming from Trump, it's not the first time Trump has threatened another country via tweet in midst of an heated exchange with foreign countries. 

Earlier on Sunday, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani warned Donald Trump against stirring up conflict with Iran and provoking "the mother of all wars."  

It is a rather bold statement by Iran, it is not a statement to be taken lightly, as they are allies with Russia, and it is also not 100% clear if Iran possess nuclear weapons or not. 

While the US and North Korea still have a long way to go to come into peaceful arrangements (US wants complete denuclearization of NK ), the last time Trump had a heated exchange with Kim, it progressed to a meeting, and a relatively peaceful "outcome" was achieved as we can see how the flow of events has passed. 

Perhaps we can witness a similar chain of events with Iran and US, however, I highly doubt it will be the case. The US seems to be strangling Iran, with pressures on its economy, and demanding other countries to do the same. Iran has also made a statement that they will block all oil export in the region if their own export is blocked. This might be a catalyst for a bigger problems to come, as if Iran do as they say, it might cause a huge surge in oil prices all over the world, consequently leading to a huge crisis.

As of now, the situation between Iran and US following Trump's ditch of the nuclear deal has been deteriorating, with both leaders threatening possible military attacks towards one another. The situation between Iran and US is completely different from the US-NK, and we can imagine more chain of events to occur as time passes. Hopefully it's not war (:
