Good stuff @robertgenito. I absolutely love your example. Even before I became vegan I did not like the taste of just meat. It always needed something extra, whether it be a crispy batter or sauce and gravy. Meat on its own, flavour wise, is not that appealing.
In regards to your health, there are many studies out there indicating the risks of eating too much meat. Documentaries such as 'forks over knives' and 'what the health' explain many of the health issues with eating meat and dairy.
