I don't think ura-soul is a hack or a fake. The better exchanges he and i have are interesting. His position is more from a no death type of food consumption, which does have merit within certain limits. Those limits being the amount of food that could be available in that context. There is no evidence it is sustainable without a considerable human population reduction. Also meat eating non-humans species have no incentive to follow a rather narrow human ideology.

No, not at all, and we see that position elsewhere in a vein of a particular '-ism'.

The useful part of his position IMO is in review of existing without killing. I don't see the math in consumption figures working out though. Especially if death of plants is accounted. Food production falls into a unsustainable narrow quantum.
