Project Details
Node.js is an open-source, cross-platform JavaScript run-time environment that executes JavaScript code outside of a browser. Node.js unifies web application development around a single programming language, rather than different languages for server side and client side scripts.
Contribution Specifications
- Translation Overview
This time, I translated part of the CHANGELOG_V5.md file. I'm currently translating the CHANGELOG_V5.md file, in here is the guidelines for the releases of the Node.js updates. This file describes the technical aspects of the Node.js release process. The intended audience is those who have been authorized by the Node.js Foundation Technical Steering Committee (TSC) to create, promote, and sign official release builds for Node.js.
The changelog are the patch notes for the updates. The stream.md file had many code as an example for the programmers expecting to use Node.js, many times this examples have lines of dialog with the prefix //, this mean that this part of the code is meant to be readable, also means that is there to be translated.
Special care was given to the changelog file. A changelog is a file which contains a curated, chronologically ordered list of notable changes for each version of a project, its there to make it easier for users and contributors to see what changes have been made over the versions. The v0.10.x its the latest possible version for Node.js.
- Languages
This contribution was translated to Spanish using English as the source language. My experience as an engineer and a translator in past crowdin projects have helped me vastly in this translation.
- Word Count
A total of 1299 words were translated from the changelogv5.md file.

-- No new terms have been used in this file yet. The Term stream was not translated because its part of the code. A stream is a continuous provider of data sequences over time. Many terms remaining in the stream.md file were part of a code. The word build is "contrucción", is translated as "compilación" because this context this term means the process by which source code is converted into a stand-alone form that can be run on a computer or to the form itself.

You may check this project's activity following this link and clicking on the top members tab. There, if you filter the search options to show only the translations im 10th of October (when I did the translation), it'll show a report of 1299 words translated next to my crowdin account (which shares the same name as my steem account).
I'll also leave a link to my crowdin profile:
