I grow in a remote province where life is at its simplest form.
Today i will show you and will tell you a little part of its abundance.
We , my sister, cousin's nieces and me decided to have some fun in the small river where people in the community ussually use it as a main source of water use.
Since my one cousin in (white T-shirt) use to live in manila long time and she misses being here so its also a bonding for us.
We go walk through the river and passes a small water fall flowing till we get to our distanation to catch some fresh buko.
This is our water spring, this is our main water drinking and everyday use.
The community relly to this water spring for their everyday usage.
It was 5 minuntes walk from our house and we fetch here everyday.
I can assure you its clean.
My younger life was spent in the province and this is a remote province where even electricity we dont still have right now.
Its fresh, cold and clean water flowing from the cave above, flow from the alley until hear near riverside.
We used bamboo tree cut in half for us to have this much easy way to get water.
On our way the kids was so enjoy swimming and dipping in the water. Of course we also swam. Well its really our plan to go swimming becuase this river is clean and also not so deep.
In our way we came across to this small waterfall from another cave its an open alley so its not good for drinking because its open. More falling leaves will dump in the water and other substance will contaminate the water..
But its good for swimming and animal drinking.
So this really is the reason why we walk through the river. We get some fresh coconut ( buko ). Its easy to get because the coconut farm is just near in the riverside. And also its hot so its best time to drink fresh buko water and eat it's sweet buko meat.
This is different waterspring. Most farms have this so they can have water for an easy access. They can use it for crop watering their drinking water and also for animal drinking and other use.
Life in the province is so simple that it not cost you a dollar to get this fresh water, to swim in this river and to be happy.
We even relly on our harvested crops to have our food for everyday living. We have fresh vegetables, banana's even seasonal fruits and this coconut.
You just need to be resourceful of course their is no fastfood if you dont want to eat vegetable 3× aday.
This is just a piece of living a life in the province. Do watch out for my next post for more of this nature experience .
