RE: Trial by Comics winner for "Superheroes" week and next theme announced!

@danielkiessler is a left handed artist, like da Vinci & Hendrix. Cool.

Your headline illustration reminds me of Dave McKean's Joker in Arkham Asylum. Also cool. As are construction lines.

Thanks for starting this initiative, it's garnered a lot of attention, but this is only the start, I can see this going off the Richter in short order. Will steemit have it's own Comic Con? Or will it not need one?

Huge compliment with the Dave McKean reference @neuromancer! I love seeing this thing grown and evolve. Thanks for the comment!

It's not flattery, I'm sure you know, but well deserved accolade.

Thanks for all your contributions, you're making this a very stimulating place to be.

STEEM ON!

Holy hell, that McKean Joker work is awesome, never seen that.

I have a 1989 copy of that Grant Morrison & David McKean Arkham Asylum, it's brilliant: dark, psychological, and most likely the basis or at least original inspiration for all the 'Dark Knight' troubled hero stories of recent years.

They're both exceptionally talented, and McKean has also collaborated with Neil Gaiman on many graphic novels that garnered significant praise, such as Signal To Noise, the Sandman series, Black Orchid, & many more.

Neil Gaiman
Dave McKean

Quite familiar with both of them... except for them working together, so maybe not as familiar as I thought lol. Love McKean because of Sandman, my 'to read' list is way too big, but Arkham Asylum is now somehow on it and a little higher up.
