Yes you can earn a lot from cloud mining compared to traditional investment like stocks or keeping it in the bank..But by holding undrvalued coins or just having above average trading skills can make you more money..

As far as i know its a third party mining for you and you just pay for the space/ hard drive space its pretty cool i plan on doing it too!

Invested in total around 730 USD 1 year ago (BTC 3.45 TH + X11 3MH). As of today price got in coins from GM total worth around 1540 USD (0.46BTC + 2.67ETH).
Exchanged all my BTC and ETH to XRP during last 5 days and bought new ETH 10MH 2 year contract today for 0.137 BTC.
So today I am good if count in USD, but you never know what will be tomorrow. It can worth more or nothing, all depends on how XRP will be doing as well as BTC and ETH.
Forgot to say that I paid a very high BTC transaction fee. It cost me 0.095 BTC. So I got only 0.365 BTC. It is because there were too many unspent outputs in my wallet.

Agree. Genesis isn't profitable at all. I've been mining for 4 years. I would've been MUCH better off just buying the coin 4 years ago. It's the reason I stopped following and upvoting @trevonjb. #sellout

Sure. Here's the simplest I can put it. I've mined for 4 years. When Ether was at $10, I threw $1,000 into Genesis mining for Ether. Today it's worth about $12,000. If I had just bought Ether at $10 with $1,000 I'd have 100 coins which would be worth $32,000. That's a fact. They're a terrible business even though yes they do exist.
I am not saying they are good. I am only saying that what you said does not prove that they suck.
Can you please tell us how much did you pay and how much payouts did you earn?But that does not make Genesis-Mining suck, @queeneleanor. What you said only means that investing in buying ETH was a better option.

Just curious if you've ever found them missing payouts, I've got a couple payments that seem stuck in limbo and no payout since the 26th, I've only had the contracts for 10-15 days so it's not that it's run out or anything... Not saying they aren't paying people, I have a support ticket open, just wondering if anyone else has noticed this or if it's just me...
