No I've never been to Bora Bora, but sounds like I should go. I think the bus only goes there on Sunday as that's the day the locals have off from work. They are not paying 50 dollars round trip for taxi, so the bus is scheduled to leave when they can actually go.....Sunday.

Every other day it's gauge the tourist time with the expansive taxis.
