Thanks to my work it became possible to spend a magical 5 days in North Karelia (Russian Federation), most of the time we spent in the Paanajarvi National Park.
Tour was organized by a real professional, a man in love with his business and in Karelia - Ilya Kruglyakov, the company "InKarjala".
My story of a visit to Karelia will consist of several posts because of a lot of impressions. Every day there was a lot of beautiful places that we visited with the group.
Words of gratitude go to Olga Lukina and company Lukomorye, which undertook the organization of a visit to Karelia by our so different group, in which, as a result, there were 17 people.
Before arriving in Karelia (which is 35 hours on the Minsk-Murmansk train, not counting further travels from the Louhi station to the Piaozersky settlement), we had a tour program that did not greatly intimidate long walks (2.5, 5, 7,km).
But! The phrase in the program "on an unprepared trail" did not suggest in any way that we would make our way through forests that looked more like swamps. It was really unreal magical! Several times when the "customs" gave the go-ahead to go I did it on my own, I felt myself like an Amazon, we carried out an ascent to two mountains Paignur and Kivakka, visited 3 unimaginable waterfalls.
It will be soon a few posts about this and about many other things, but for now a few photos for following me :)
