Our second day in Tennessee on our week long road trip began with a lazy ride down Little River in Towns End. It was a a 40min drive out from where we stayed in Gatlinburg but the rates where much lower and we even got a group discount!

Right after the tubing we went to the show Magic Beyond Belief with Darren Romeo.

The show is held in Pigeon Forge, which is a town 20mins from Gatlinburg and where most of the dinner shows and tourist attractions are located. We had a great time, but the brochure shows a white tiger and a unicorn which where actually just a tiny part of the show.

But our daughter enjoyed it none the less and fully believed that the unicorn was real! Myself being a horse woman thought they could have found a slightly more attractive horse for the part. But knowing horses, it's not easy to find one that will not only let you dress it up like a unicorn, but also step out on stage in front of bright lights and a noisy crowd without having a complete meltdown.

After the show we went to an area called The Island, in Pigeon Forge. It is a shopping and dining center with a ferris wheel and a few other attractions. We grabbed a bite at a place called Poyener's Pommes Frites, it's a relaxed German counter-serve joint offering sausages on homemade rolls & fries with dipping sauces.

We also stopped by the Pepper Palace to sample some hot sauces.

It was lots of fun and thank goodness they sold ice cream there because our daughter (who hates spicy food) decided to live a little, and tried a few hot sauces.

Last stop in Pigeon Forge was at the Rockin' Raceway Arcade. Jeremy found an updated Ninja Turtles game that he used to love playing with his brother when they were growing up. So we played that together and let the girls go crazy with everything else.

That night we went out karaokying at a small bar in Gatlinburg. Jeremy sang Tupac's "Dear Mama" and I stuck with the country theme of Gatlinburg and sang Shania Twain's "You're Still The One." It was a lot of fun and always brings the family together.
