Hello Steemians ! Thanks for liking and upvoting my previous post . Sharing my travel experience with you all makes it even more special.
Second day of our visit was utilized in the amazing La Vallée des Couleurs National Park.
Nature lovers like me are bound to like this place; it is quite a unique experience with the indigenous fauna and flora that abound in the park.
The USP of this place was its lush green valleys, its hills, lakes, river, waterfalls, 23 colored earth & volcanic ashes. Some of the other facilities provided within the national park were Kids Garden, Cafeteria & a restaurant, to name a few.
In my opinion, the best way to experience this place is on a Quad Bike. It was bumpy, it was rough and yes! it was raining, but the whole experience was totally worth the efforts. There can't be anything more pleasing than sharing a quad bike with your partner in an absolutely stunning and hypnotizing piece of heaven, like this place.
On the way to the top of the Valley, we were welcomed with the pleasing sound of a gushing waterfall, which was simply music to my ear. As we approached the site of the water fall, we were left spell bound with the beauty of it.
The unique colors, that can be seen at the 23 colored earth, are a result of a volcanic eruption due to high levels of gas pressure causing magma (molten rock deep within the Earth) to come to the surface of the earth.
Once we reached the top of the hill, the view was breathtaking.!! I hope my camera could do justice to the scenic beauty which was on our hands. One can only experience it in person. I have attached a video below encompassing a 360 degree view of the place.
I hope you enjoyed our second day of travel in Mauritius, as much as we did.!!
