Let us go through the great Indian monuments in this series.

4 Gol Gumbaz

It was built by architect George Yaqut of Dabul on the order of Mohammed Adil Shah, the Sultan of Bijapur and the seventh ruler of the Adil Shahi dynasty, in the year 1656 AD. It is located in Bijapur, Karnataka, India and built in 30 years of time frame 1626-1656 AD. It is a mausoleum of Mohammed Adil Shah. It has Deccan Indo-Islamic style architecture and built using dark grey basalt. It has a central dome of 144 feet in external diameter and 156 feet on each side.
