Hello Steemians, I present to you “TRANVIA DE MARACAIBO”;
This vehicular unit served me as a transport through the beautiful city of Maracaibo when I had the opportunity to visit it. It offers several tours, in our case we chose the one that will walk us through symbolic places of the city, among them:
- Carabobo Street: This street is very picturesque and cheerful. All the houses are very colorful and with a colonial style of the time. You really feel like you're transporting yourself. You can also see paintings on the walls that tell you stories on their own or if you ask them the favor the locals tell you.
Caribe Concert. It is one of the many locals located on Carabobo Street, & nbsp; it works as & nbsp; restaurant, disco, pool and theater. & nbsp; They offer you a Zulian environment that catches you. Its decoration is great, the cuisine very Zulian and delicious. They have a show with characters that will entertain you a lot and you cheer up to get on stage. I assure you, you will not want to come!
Basílica de la Chinita.
It is the main Catholic church of the Zulia state in honor of the patron saint of the Zulianos "Virgen de Chiquinquira" or better known as the "Chinita". It is located in the center of Maracaibo and is called Basilica of Our Lady of Chiquinquirá. It is an impressive building both internally and externally, you can appreciate the dedication in its construction as well as in its care. One attraction is the paintings on the roof of this temple "Very beautiful and detailed" in addition to the Monument to the Virgin, which is a huge plaza that has fountains, gardens and statues in his honor.
Bridge over the lake:
This famous bridge is named & nbsp; "Puente General Rafael Urdaneta". This construction is what unites the western Zulian with the eastern sector. It has a length of 8.5 km and even his own song or the most emblematic and known "When I go to Maracaibo", I share his stanza:
Photo taken from the "Tram" passing through the bridge.
Cuando voy a Maracaibo
Y empiezo a pasar el puente
Siento una emoción tan grande
Que se me nubla la mente
Siento un nudo en la garganta
Y el corazón se me salta
Y sin darme cuenta tiemblo
Sin querer estoy llorando.
This was all my journey in the TRAM by Land of the beloved sun, as many call it.
**All the photos were taken by me.
