Hello fellow Steemians,
I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.
The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.
Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.
There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @magnata:
Toy Museum. This extraordinarily light and fabulously beautiful museum is located on the territory of Prague Castle, next to the famous Zlata Street. A ticket to the museum is sold in the building of the museum, the cost of a general ticket for the Prague grad is not included. Costs 60 kroons. The founder of the museum is Ivan Steiger, my great respect to him! The museum has been operating since 1989. Ivan Steiger director. I was there in 2015, but I heard that the museum moved, I do not know.

Prague, and especially its historical center is a very dense city (although the narrow streets and passageways contribute to its charm), and it felt good to catch a breath of air at the Strahov Monastery garden. Here I am peeking through the vineyards at the city and beyond.
What an amazing view which I am sure many will enjoy in today´s edition. Tomas
Thank you very much, and for making this the cover photograph of todays post. It was an amazing view indeed. Falling in love with Prague is so easy...
It sure is:)
Sorry to "spam" with another winter shot when the winter seems to be finally over but this peaceful still life has been hiding on the bottom of my photo gallery from Brno and it was not until now when it caught my attention. Located in Brno - Julianov, this beautiful park is a popular chill-out spot for residents of several surrounding neighborhoods. I enjoyed roaming the snow-covered paths in January 2017.
When in Prague you have to walk across the Charles Bridge. The bridge can be very busy but if you go in the early morning or walk down to it from the castle you can get some great pictures. The statues are remarkable and each one has a tale to tell.
I never forget to walk back and forth at least once when in Prague... As touristy as it is I just love it!
After reading your post about the problems caused by “love locks”, I decided to post this photo about the subject. It was taken on a bridge at Čertovka (also called Little Prague Venice), located at the "Lesser Quarter" (Malá Strana) of Prague.
Great to have some reaction to the post! Thank you so much. For those that missed it: Love locks: serious problem in many European cities including Prague
I took this photo from the Bridge of the Bridge in Prague. For travelers and their children in the capital of the Czech Republic there is a place for recreation and entertainment. Children have fun, parents are resting.))
After longer period of time that I have been without connection to the internet I have prepared a post from Sychrov castle garden. To this day very valuable woody plants are preserved, especially from original plantations. The park has an area of 26 hectares. Also for example, there is an orangery or a fountain.
Great to have you back:)!
The main treasure of Prague, the Cathedral of Saints Vita, Vaclav and Vojtěch. The size of the cathedral is impressive: its length is 124 meters, the height of the highest South tower is 96.5 meters. On the tower of the South Tower is opened a viewing platform, with which Prague is visible as in the palm of your hand. . A total of 287 steps along the spiral staircase, and you are at an altitude of almost 100 meters. The ticket for the bell tower is purchased separately, either directly on the spot, or at any ticket office of the Prague Castle, worth 150 kroons. When buying a ticket give a souvenir coin.
A walk through Karlín Square is the best thing for those who wish to leave the fairy tale of the center of Prague to the reality of a changing and lively city. There are times when this place reminds me of Berlin. It has wide boulevards, restored modernist buildings, restaurants and modern cafes, parks and industrial buildings converted into cultural. A place that should not be missed.
Actually, this is more of a location that most tourist wouldn´t go to which is a shame. It is a nice little neighborhood well worth visiting.
Cheb
It is located in the Karlovy Vary region, next to the Ohře river, at the foot of the Smrčiny mountains and close to the border with Germany. In the image you can see the colorful houses that represent the city and in the background the Church of St Nicolas.
A random picture from Prag. I really like the architectural structure of Czech Republic.. I don't know the name of this location and this building but maybe you can clarify @tomas.
That is a Municipal House at Namesti Republiky close to a famous Powder Tower. It is mainly used for concerts and exhibitions. It has a gallery, restaurant and few shops located inside as well. Hav a great day. Tomas
Tnank you so much for your information..
Pleasure!
Yap! here is my contribution. i always like my city. its a very good contest. i really enjoying to perticipent to your contest.
This photo i will take by my phone. this place is Cathedral of St. Peter and St. Paul. just beauty in that place. when i go here my heart feel very well.
Thank you for your entry!
welcome Tomas
I was wondering if I can put here photo other than nice buildings and landscapes, but title is about my personal image, so here it is... kofola. Czech Republic it's not only about beer, some people are saying that taste of this drink is similar to cocacola but Czech people will not agree with that ;) so you just need to try it to make your own opinion about it :) I took this photo somewhere in Praded area.
Kofola reminds me the era of the communism, lol.... It is a very popular drink!
Skulls! skulls every where! i ain't scared at all.
well, this is a very intersting story at here. this place is Brno, Czech Republic. When i will stay here of my travels. its a amazing memory of mine. i really enjoying that time with my big brother. this place is little scared but very beautiful place. Thank you so much for your contest. I am very happy & excited for your contest.
this one is very intersting! i want to go here.
Christmas time in Prague: I took a picture of myself mirrored on a Christmas Ball with the Neo-Gothic St. Ludmila Chruch (Kostel svaté Ludmily) behind me. The square that you can also see in the picture is Peace Square (Náměstí Míru). I know, not my best contribution, but good memories from 2007's Crhistmas time in Czech Republic.
Valtice it is then 😉 This gate leads to the Valtice castle. Picture was taken this Saturday. There was a lot of people outside enjoying a sunny day. I must say - It definitely would not hurt if the city would think about renovation of this gate.
I have a pic from that location:)..... There are many places around the Chateau as well as the Chateau itself that could use a little facelift... I guess not being listed on the World Unesco Heritage List like Chateau Lednice does not bring that much fundings... I still love it though. Tomas
You randomly ask for ownership of images. How are we to provide that information?
When I have a doubt that the image is fraudulent and stolen from someone else. I find that either through Google search or by simply checking the blog of that person that does not really match the quality of the submitted image. There are many different ways of proving that and if the image really is personal then the users always have a way to prove it. Thanks for your question. Looking forward to your entry. Tomas
My last visit of Prague was about week ago. I had done about 24 km of walk and for longer transfer i was use taxi.. But any the 25km i was feel another 2 days..:D This picture i took next to river Vltava with view on Karls Bridge and Prasna Brana. This place it very popular for families with kids come to feed Ducks, Wans and other kinds of birds.
Statue of John from nepomuk.
about 30 Baroque statues are installed on both sides of Charles Bridge. Many of these statues are still original. but many do not. One of the most famous statues is St. John of Nepomuk, a statue of a Czech martyr who was executed when King Wenceslas IV came to power. Touching the statue is claimed to bring good luck, and make that touch can go back to Prague.
so many tourists touch the statue of john from nepomuk.
Hi! I am just running a random check of the ownership and authenticity of some images. Just a regular check-up to make sure no plagiarism finds its way to my contests. Kindly provide an ownership to this image. Thank you so much and have a great day. Tomas
I was there in October but didn't touch the statue. I had more fun just watching everyone else touch it!
HARD ROCK CAFE.
The largest cafe in Europe. Located in V.J Rott Building, this 1900 m2 cafe with a total of four floors features a neo-Renaissance interior with a chandelier chandelier light icon with a width of five meters suspended firmly in the center of the atrium cafe. in the main bar can instantly enjoy the Cocktails and the atmosphere of Rock n Roll in this Hard Rock Cafe.
Perfect shot ! I love that place :)
@longming
thank you my friend. less perfect because of using camera phone.
Greetings from a Rock Giant ;) - Amazing rocky structures in Czech 'Adršpašskoteplické skály' . Summer holidays few years ago...
What a beautiful image! Just a shame it is not compliant with the guidelines of the challenge as it is missing the minimum 30-word description to be considered for an upvote. Thank you for understanding. Tomas
Of course, thanks for info , I will keep it in mind next time :) good day to You!
This is Charles bridge. its a amazing place. i have intersting memory at charles bridge. When we are walking at this charles bridge, that time one man ask me, where is charles bridge? hahaha lol!

I am very happy to see this prague contest. This photo i captured by my phone & this amazing place at Letnany. that was a great time pass, a big consert at stage show. A big band team will perform here, its too much fun.
This strange man was watching me from a building. Well, I guess “watching” is not the correct word since he does not have eyes. You can find him in Humpolec, sitting on hotel Fabrika. He is there the whole day because he has nothing better to do :-)
Nice post. Nice place. Thanks for this contest
Never visited Prague :( just watching it through your posts.
Very good post my friend.. i like it
nice travel
This is the home of all my ancestor's.. In 1863 boats arrived in New Zealand from Prague and settled in the historic village known as Puhoi North of Auckland New Zealand. The early settlors one was my great grandfather and they broke in the land and built a bridge over the Puhoi river. I have never been to Czech Republic.. Just maybe one day now I will..
