People should not misinterpret these ratings either! Without A's and the majority rated as C it makes it seem rather negative, but I looked into it and on their website they explain how they came to these ratings.
So basically everything that gets a C is counted as 'fair' and B's are 'good'.
With this in mind, it gives a new dimension looking at these charts.

This is welcomed news @cryptographic. I am only upset I was left holding powder when BTS ran. At least I was able to add two more batches...one for some LTC and the other for fiat.
As for the ranking it is good although I admit I have no idea who Weiss is. Anyway, they seem a tad bearish on BTC and others. I see there were no A rankngs so being in the B range is an accomplishment.
STEEM and BTS are going to do really well this year....too much activity on the blockchain. What is nice, is both can focus upon growth while BTC, ETH, and LTC are trying to figure out how to scale up.
Much different outlook on things....and set of problems.
To be fair bitcoin has many flaws it's tx are way to slow and it's mining consumes huge amount of electricity too and man it's fees are so high not many can afford the fees of btc and to me the best crypto right now on the internet is steem it is super fast like rocket it has no fees and it consumes very very little electricity too and what more it can be mined with the proof of brain and proof of stake and it has zero scalability problem, it's wallet is also super secure, if for x reason we lost our steem wallet key steem give us option to recover it too, steem blockchain continuously developing and new interesting platforms are building on top of steem blockchain regularly, so to me steem is the future crypto and we surely see more growth in steem soon, thanks for sharing your nice thoughts with us, Stay blessed

Your analysis of the coins fundamentals is spot on HR, good to see some external validation. Many people commenting that this list is fake, I think it's a wake up call. Do I agree with all its ratings? No, but definitely the top rated ones seem to make sense.
I am annoyed that as Bittrex is not signing up new users for the past month, and Poloniex is slow with deposits, this has resulted in squiring less STEEM than wanted.
Oh well...in real estate they say the deal of the decade comes around once a week, let's hope that applies to Crypto too ;)

We all knew the Steem blockchain was good, but it's really exciting for that to be recognized by Weiss. I noticed the entire crypto market got a boost as soon as these results were released... I think it was the little booster shot everyone needed to bring that money in from the sidelines.
Stan Larimer coins representin' with 3 in the top 15! Mighty impressive and should be a good sign for appreciation in the future! Awesome seeing STEEM in the top 5. This should bring a new wave onto the platform, stoked for the 2018!

steem got B- that pretty good . It's very good in comparison to the rest of the list and Ethereum , EOS both got higher ratings. Yes you are right we’ve made some pretty good choices here but why there is no A grade cryptocurrency?
B- is a very good rating when considering that this is the first report on a still rather speculative sector. I think it's very reasonable that there weren't even any B+, let alone A-, as we're still in a very early stage of development. The competition now will be for the first to make B+!

EOS in next ETH, so considering the price of ETH as 1100 now and having a supply of close to 100 million where as EOS having a supply of 1 billion, the justified value of EOS should be 110 usd per token and it should be the parity for EOS as well in the current scenario and therefore EOS potential is much more and huge from here.
Therefore buy EOS as much as you can. BTS and STEEM has also tremendous potential and the name "Dan Lariemer" will be the most popular name of 2018 in the crypto segment.
Steem in first half of 2018 could go as high as 25usd or 165K satoshi...

Weiss choice is very good as they gave good ratings to EOS over ADA. I'm happy with their grading system but they should give B+ or B- ratings to bitshares also. what do you think?

This is more than deserved for STEEM, I am sure this will bring lots of positive publicity for the STEEM blockchain. I think Dan Larimer should be very proud of himself, I can't wait to see EOS in action. To be honest some of the ratings surprised me - BTC (C+). Obviously WeissRatings like 3.0 blockchain - EOS, Steem, ADA.

Yesterday I had a chance to read about DPoS, PoS and PoW. STEEM, BTS belongs to DPoS and build by Graphene's blockchain framework. Graphene is the fastest and the real time blockchain technology so far! Actually this is the future. I am not going to sell my BTS, STEEM to anyone! Lol, I hold all the B's except cardano... I'm still wondering about these ratings though, there sure are a ton of C's, and not a single A, like what will constitute and A? Shouldn't we have one for reference, or are we waiting for the chosen one, EOS, to actually launch haha
I think it's reasonable not to expect to see standouts so early in the game. Crypto is still very speculative and it would be risky for a ratings agency to put to high a rating on anything so soon, regardless of how good it might be. I'm not surprised that B is the highest for now and wonder how long it will be until we actually see an A-. The first B+ this year?

See even in a red market EOS is holding quite well and the bullish bias is still on and so much attention is being paid to EOS these days in crypto market and the demand has also gone up, it will go at least 5X from this level.
BTS will also rock and Steem has already been surging.
This is awesome, thanks for sharing a resource I wasn't aware of, mostly because my experience with trading other asset classes has been minimal.
Looks like the way to access this data is through a subscription? If so, kudos to you for sharing with the community a resource that you paid for yourself - I know not many individuals would do that. BTS, STEEM, and EOS are part of my LT portfolio and seeing these ratings definitely re-affirms my confidence in the tech surrounding them.

Second point is that EOS is gathering much more support these days and I will not be surprised if EOS will touch 50 usd by March 2018.
Steem today has already surged to 60000 satoshi and has turned bullish in the daily chart and BTS will also rise in near future.

Oh, yes, it's very pleasant that the STEEM was included in the list of rating currencies according to the opinion of the Weiss Rating Agency. We see again what we are talking about on the STEEM, namely, that the STEEM is more perfect in many ways, it is commission-free transactions, better bandwidth and scalability, I most importantly have the same quality as the social network, which speaks of a broader spread among ordinary people. It can be used to predict a change in the price pathway. Here he is saying that if the price goes down to red resistance it's probable to bounce up.
I definitely need to read into their methodology but love it!
Doesn't look like there's much correlation with the valuations of STEEM, BTS, or ETH since most cryptos tend to follow broader market trends at this point. I expect there to be more correlation in the future as investors become more aware of the ratings and more educated though. Definitely good for investors to continue to monitor!
I am really curious, what if the guys at the raring agency want to buy a few Steem before releasing their rating and saying about it that it is a very good coin? They can manipulate the market and take some really good profits. On the other side I am happy because someone eventually recognized the potential of Steem and I am sure it is still undervalued, even though it may face some correction after its abrupt growth.
