Digital Marketing Workshop In Dubai Today!

in #thealliance7 years ago

I had an awesome day today in Dubai. I conducted a digital marketing workshop with a group of marketing managers working for RTA (Dubai Roads and Transportation Authority) who would like to ride on the digital transformation wave and get up to date with the latest technologies in digital marketing.

The topics I covered in today's workshop:

  • The benefits of digital transformation
  • Building a digital brand
  • Market segmentation
  • Could utilization
  • Email Marketing
  • Social Media Marketing
  • Apps Utilization & Marketing
  • SEO
  • Digital Advertising

I started putting my Steemit blog URL on my slides as an indirect way to promote the Steemit platform, along with my other social media sites and contact details, and people were asking about it. It's a good natural way to promote our Steemit Blockchain technology in workshops not related to Blockchain :)

I noticed from the photos that the women and men are seated at separate tables, is that a cultural requirement or was that because of different job classifications?
Just curious as I know very little about the culture there.Hey @nuridin,

Hi @sultnpapper ... Yes, because of the culture in the UAE, ladies and men usually sit on separate tables inside the same classroom. But if it's a theater style seating, they can sit next to each other.

I pretty much though that to be the case, I was surprised though about the theater style seating though, doesn't make much sense to me then on why there would be a difference when it comes to tables.

The difference is round tables are considered to be a closer form of seating with a number of people making a group. The theater style is more a public and open way of seating, where all the audience are facing one way (the speaking stage) versus facing each other.

Got it now, thanks.

Again, a marvelous post written by you! I really enjoy reading them! I also love all the pictures that show what you did that day! I think you are doing a great thing here ( On the platform) and there ( outside the platform) as well!

Hey @nuridin are you a digital marketer too? I am a digital marketer by profession.

Yes, I am.. I ran a digital marketing company in Dubai for a couple of years and partnered with few other digital marketing companies in Egypt and Oman. It's an amazing field. Glad to know you're in it too :)

It all looks really great. Nice one.

Thank you mr-neil ... :) I think it's about time to schedule that meetup... I'll do it tomorrow and will probably shoot for one month from now.

Excellent, I'm putting a link to the discord at the footer of my posts. It's temporary, but looks good.

Your youb looks interesting ;)

Really awesome work! Keep it up XD

Thank you :)

Fantastic, @nuridin! I love how you have started to slip in your Steemit blog on the slides; brilliant!

I'm curious, how knowledgeable about blockchain technology and cryptocurrency in general are these seminar attendees in that region? Do you find that explaining the blockchain via Steemit is an easier way for people to grasp the concept? I recently read another Steemit blogger's article that mentioned he found it easier for people to grasp the concept of cryptocurrency if they first understood how Steemit works.

I talked about Steemit then and many showed interest to join.Thank you @mitneb, I'm really happy my post was chosen by you for the your curation trail project. I'm flattered. Usually the attendees of such seminars are not that knowledgeable about the block chain technology or cryptocurrency. They might have heard about the bitcoin but that's it. That's why I conducted a workshop few days ago about the skills needed to thrive in a
