ร่วมสำรวจไปยังมุมลับๆ ของสิงโตภูเขา หรือที่เรียกกันว่า เสือพูม่า เพื่อหาคำตอบว่าพวกมันมีวิธีการเลี้ยงดูลูกอ่อนอย่างไร ฟุตเทจที่หายากเหล่านี้ถูกบันทึกโดยองค์กร Panthera พวกเขาใช้อุปกรณ์ติดตามและกล้องดักถ่ายสัตว์ กับประชากรสิงโตภูเขาที่อาศัยอยู่ในพื้นที่ทางตะวันตกเฉียงเหนือ ของรัฐไวโอมิง จากการสำรวจทีมอนุรักษ์พบว่า หลังให้กำเนิดลูก แม่สิงโตภูเขาจะคอยดูแลลูกอยู่ไม่ห่างเป็นเวลา 2 – 3 วัน ก่อนที่มันจะออกไปหาอาหาร ซึ่งใช้เวลาเกือบทั้งวัน และบางครั้งพวกมันก็พาลูกๆ ย้ายไปยังแหล่งที่อยู่ใหม่ เพื่อให้ลูกรอดพ้นจากผู้ล่าหรือปรสิตอื่นๆ เมื่อเวลาผ่านไปราว 6 สัปดาห์ ลูกสิงโตภูเขาจะเริ่มติดตามแม่ของมันออกไปล่าเหยื่อด้วย และจะติดอยู่กับแม่จนกว่าอายุได้ 18 เดือน ระหว่างนี้พวกมันต้องเรียนรู้ทักษะการล่าเหยื่อและเอาตัวรอดด้วยตัวเองให้ได้มากที่สุด หนึ่งในปัญหาใหญ่ที่พบก็คือ ลูกสิงโตภูเขาเหล่านี้มีโอกาสรอดชีวิตน้อยมาก หากพวกมันสูญเสียแม่ไป กฎหมายของรัฐไวโอมิงระบุว่าห้ามฆ่าสิงโตภูเขาที่มีลูกอ่อน อย่างไรก็ดีมันยากที่จะดูออกว่าตัวเมียนั้นๆ กำลังมีลูกหรือไม่ และทุกๆ ปี ประมาณกันว่ามีลูกสิงโตภูเขาราว 70 ตัวที่ต้องกลายเป็นกำพร้า ทั้งนี้พฤติกรรมการเลี้ยงดูลูกของมันอาจช่วยให้ข้อมูลที่เป็นประโยชน์ในการอนุรักษ์ประชากรสิงโตภูเขาได้
