Tezos: Another ethereum competitor?

in #tezos6 years ago

It's so cool how technology is always evolving and changing the way we think and invest. Ethereum was and is the father of decentralized platform for dapps as far as concerned, simply because it was the first to show up in the scene.

But now we have some Blockchain projects that are giving Ethereum some good and serious competition, projects like eos, tezos etc.

The news of eos is everywhere, that shouldn't be a news anymore in this article.... But let's talk about tezos a little today.

What is TEZOS ?

Tezos is a Blockchain project that is attempting to bring governance to Blockchain and give token holders the power to govern the protocol.

Tezos has a process for upgrading its protocol over time through on-chain governance. With this method, hard fork can be easily avoided. If an upgrade is needed by different developers, they just need to submit a proposal for a protocol upgrade. After the submission, the token holders can then vote for this proposals to be approved.

This project plans to use DPOS so token holders can delegate someone else to help validate on their behalf if they get too busy to participate in doing all the necessary staking themselves.

Ethereum uses solidity for its coding while tezos uses Michelson for formal verification to help fight against bugs in codes.

Tezos on Coinmarketcap

With a total supply of 963,306,930 XTZ, I think this coin is still extremely cheap to dive in at this current price of $1.43. Don't know how well the team behind tezos will deliver, but if they do, then boom........

Currently trading in just two exchanges, gate.io and hitbtc.

@ackza mentioned how @bitcoinparadise talked about tezos the other day and it really surprised him how fast Texos FINALLy launched their DPOS Blockchain, and now they are in the top 20 or 30, we will see how long they last but texos was supposed to be the financial services blockchain... hmmm
