The Internet has been one of the best inventions in history, everything we want to look for in this great information network is almost certain to be found. There are many people interacting and publishing part of their knowledge, for everyone's access. However, it is necessary to ask yourself which is the easiest way to find what you are looking for.
- This or that
Sometimes we are not completely sure that we have correctly remembered the necessary information. Nothing happens! Just enter several options that you have in mind through the symbol "|" or the English word "or" and then choose the result you were looking for.
- Search by synonyms
We all know that in the Spanish language there are many synonyms. And sometimes when doing a search this does not facilitate the task. If you need to quickly find pages related to certain topics and not a particular phrase, put the symbol "~".
For example, the results of the search "healthy food" can help you learn the principles of healthy eating, teach you some recipes and healthy products and also suggest you visit good food restaurants.
- Search within a page
Sometimes, after reading an interesting article on a page, after a while you want to share that information with your friends or just read it again. To find the desired material, use the search for the site. To begin, enter the address of the site and then the keywords or the complete sentence.
- The power of the asterisk
When the memory betrays you and you forget some words of a phrase you can use the symbol "*". Simply put it in the place of the forgotten fragment and you will get the desired results.
- Many forgotten words
If you forgot several words, or half of a sentence, try to enter the first and last words and between them put AROUND (approximate amount of the words omitted). For example, "Colonel AROUND (5) writes to him".
- Temporary frames
Sometimes you need to review the events that happened in a certain amount of time. For this, the main sentence adds the years separated by three points. For example, if you want to know what scientific discoveries were made between 1900 and 2000, you will write "scientific discoveries in 1900 ... 2000".
- Search by title or link
For the search engine to find the keywords in the title, enter the word "intitle:" before the content of your search without space. To search for a word in a hyperlink, type "inurl:".
- Related pages
If you liked some website and would like to find some other similar page, enter "related:" before the address of the page.
- Complete phrase
The simplest and most efficient way to find something specific in the order you indicated is to write the phrase in quotes.
For example, if you write the most fun text, the search engine will show you the results related to "text", "more" and "fun" in any order.
But if you write the same thing as "the funniest text", you will only see the results of these four words in this order. This way is perfect when you want to find the lyrics of a song but you only remember one sentence.
- Unnecessary terms
To exclude some unnecessary term from the search, it is sufficient to put the symbol "-" before the term. For example, if you want to find book pages but do not want to buy them, try to exclude the unwanted term.
