That's a good spread indeed and sounds like you had a taste of everything whilst there!
And aww, definitely come visit it again but in summer. Summer is the best in London :-)

I liked the winter! Here in the Southern Hemisphere, it's summer and hot over Christmas, so all the decorations and themes don't make sense. But being in London with the cold and snow, the lights and mulled wine! It's really nice!
Haha, yeah I know what you mean. Summer and Christmas doesn't really go hand in hand (at least not for me as I grew up with a lot of snow in Latvia).
In fact, I was talking about this in Bahamas - why don't warm countries come up with their own theme for Christmas? Something that fits the hot weather, like exotic fruit hats and flowers everywhere? :-)
We have BBQ's in Australia and eat prawn cocktails. Sometimes Santa wears shorts and goes surfing :D
But it's hard to completely change popular Xmas songs and decorations such as reindeer, pine trees and snowmen.
When we were in London for summer, it was called a heatwave when the temperature rose above 25 degrees Celsius! It was 40 here on Sunday!
Have you been back to Latvia much since moving to London?
Hahaha, yup. Anything above 18 degrees is pretty much considered summer and everyone get their flip flops (or tongs in your case) out! :-)
I try and go at least twice a year and am already planning my trip over Easter. Hopefully it won't snow this time in April! :-)
