As per dictionary:
su·prem·a·cist
so͞oˈpreməsəst/
noun
noun: supremacist; plural noun: supremacists
- an advocate of the supremacy of a particular group, especially one determined by race or sex.
"a white supremacist"
adjective
adjective: supremacist - relating to or advocating supremacy of a particular group.
The idea of supremacist arised from the fact that the highest civilization and culture, apart from the ancient Hindus and Egyptians, are found exclusively among the white races; and even with many dark peoples, the ruling caste or race is fairer in colour than the rest and has, therefore, evidently immigrated, for example, the Brahmans, the Incas, and the rulers of the South Sea Islands. All this is due to the fact that necessity is the mother of invention because those tribes that migrated early to the north, and there gradually became white, had to develop all their intellectual powers and invent and perfect all the arts in their struggle with need, want and misery, which in their many forms were brought about by the climate.
However over a period - we have been forgetting the fact that the people who were supreme during any period were people who were supreme not because of their skin color alone but also because of their character, moral and social standing.
In Hinduism, Brahman connotes the highest Universal Principle, the Ultimate Reality in the universe. In major schools of Hindu philosophy, it is the material, efficient, formal and final cause of all that exists. It is the pervasive, genderless, infinite, eternal truth and bliss which does not change, yet is the cause of all changes. Brahman as a metaphysical concept is the single binding unity behind diversity in all that exists in the universe.
The inca rulers were not only fair complexioned btu also fair in their rule. They embodied justice and fairness in every sense of the term. One reason why the Incas could create such a huge indigenous empire was due to the strength of their rulers morality and fairness in their reign.
The same applies for ruler of South Sea islander or descendant's of Solomon island. Here also the fair skin of the rulers arised more due to not burning under sun as much as the common populace. However , again their power came from their wisdom, their chivalry, their bravery, facing danger in the eye and other commendable attributes.
Supremacy in itself is not a bad concept as all human beings always strive to achieve supremacy over fellow humans. We are all born equal but our very soul always strives to elevate ourselves from the masses. From ancient times, the learned people and mystic cultivators have been practicing sacrifice, celibacy and other meditation techniques towards these goals. The pursuit of supremacy is not wrong but the road to supremacy has to be through pursuit of supreme qualities in a humans being and not just on the basis of one's skin complexion, social status, race, caste, creed or any such divisions created by man. He who wishes to be supreme has to be prepared to make the supreme sacrifice for the sake of transcending over the masses and not through fear mongering, hatred and bigotry.
