The aroma of this flowering jacaranda tree was so strong that even the usual city smells and car exhaust couldn't mask it. Truly a hazard to us, city dwellers.
P.S. I am sure you know it, that "jacaranda" means "fragrant".

Love those trees we had a massive one in our back yard when i was a kid in Brisbane.
Love the shape and colour of this beautiful Jacaranda tree @steemulator They truly do decorate the streets of Brisbane around December don't they? We should declare them our Queensland Christmas trees. (:
As long as people don't cut them down Christmas time 😉

What a beautiful tree, but I never heard it scent. For those people who suffer from allergies, the odor can be unpleasant.
