saving third world people is novel thing but has nothing to do with GMO safety.
You can't say Fossil fuel is so good and we should encourge spend it more because third world people get more benefit from it than eco-safe alternative.

If you want to frame this product along the line of 'save the world moto' rather than gmo safety, I think you should focus subject of 'is it truly cheap than any other remedy?'
I mean introduction new crops to any nation is long, daunting process.
And propagating this to local farmer is next one.
