The #3 Michigan Wolverines battle against the #9 Florida State Seminoles in an Elite 8 game of the 2018 NCAA Tournament. The game tips off at 7:49pm Central Standard Time and can be seen on National Television on TBS. It will take place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. Michigan is a 4 point favorite and the over/under is 143 points.
Michigan is coming off of an absolute beat down of the Texas A&M Aggies on Thursday night 99-72. It was a blowout from the get go. The Wolverines were up 52-28 at the half and continued to poor it on until the final buzzer. Muhammad-Ali Abdur-Rahkman led the way with 24 points and hit 4-7 from beyond the arc. If he can continue this hot shooting, Michigan has the potential to be cutting down some nets in a week. He also led the team in assists with 7 and rebounds with 5.
Florida State might be the hottest team in the 2018 NCAA Tournament so far. They dominated the Gonzaga Bulldogs on Thursday night and won 75-60. They came right out of the gate on fire and held a 41-32 halftime lead. Gonzaga tried to inch back into the game after the break but were unable to slow down the Seminoles. Terance Mann led the team in scoring with 18 points. Florida State’s defense was as good as it has been all year and that will be key in their match-up against Michigan.
The game tonight is going to be a battle of wills. Florida State will try and push the pace and Michigan will attempt to play more of a half court style. This should be a phenomenal game as both teams are playing at an incredibly high level right now.

Man what a battle that was last night between these two - Michigan inevitably couldn't continue that scorching-hot shooting, but none-the-less were able to pull it out. We've got a heck of a matchup in store in with them and Loyola-Chicago in the Final Four. Nice preview
