Well over the past few days, I have set back and read a lot of comments concerning staxx. You see I have been in this group since, well since it was started. One thing that I could never understand is why this group doesn't support each other better.
See this has always been a issue at #steemsilvergold and for the life of me I can not figure out why. We are well over 100 members now, actually I think it is closer to 150, which is awesome. I know there are not enough up votes to go around. This is the reason the @silvergoldbotty was brought to life. Before I go any further let me explain something to everyone. OUR bot votes on every member, now some may not like their % and some may think that others get to much of a upvote, but let's be perfectly clear, she votes every post from every member. Do you? Of course you don't, no one could and keep up with it and keep your strength up.
See, #steemsilvergold isn't based off of @silvergoldbotty. We are a community of people you are Passionate about precious metals, that's it. The bot is just a bonus and the last time I checked @silvergoldbotty 1% upvote was worth 13 cents, now let me tell everyone something else, before the last hard fork on steemit, 13 cents was a good payout to me. Most of my post where under 50 cents. So whether it's 1% or 100% , it is an extra bonus for you.
You have to grow yourself, I shouldn't have to explain this to anyone. But It's kinda like your stack, nobody gave it to you, nope you grew it yourself. So get out there and blog, let's talk about metals. Let's see what you got.
This tag is here to stay, you have figure out whether you are going to grow with or not.
2018 will be a good year for this tag, how good will it be for you?
Now before I leave and end this post, I want to give a huge shout out to @phelimint , this guy runs the bot by himself, Just think of everything that he does for this group. Trust me It's a lot of work with a little return. So @phelimint Thanks Brother for all that you do for this group.

A couple of days ago Stax made a post about, well, upvoting her in return for being granted favour.
The post was already 2days old and there were 18 votes...
18 fucking votes for the post where she was basically sayin’ “you, yeah you, upvote my ass or beat it...”
Many complaints by many people! I agree with you totally when you say: you have to “grow yourself.” I mean c’mon!!! This is basic!!!
You don’t get to become an adult until you take full responsibility for everything you have and everything you are. And you don’t get phat upvotes from stax until you give phat upvotes to stax. And send her money. And kiss her ass. And, for god’s sake, realize the massive amount of work @phelimint does for the benefit of our tag.
This whole platform is wide open. Anyone complainin’ should have a look at just how interested they are in helping “out” and not just helping “in.”

Thx for the support man! I do really appreciate it. It is frustrating at times with the lack of support and everyone complaining the second their damn vote is missed but rarely support Stax or anyone else for that matter.
And it is a hell of a lot of work, it's nice to hear a thank you once in a while, instead of all the complaints.
Gonna stop here before I start a rant, but believe me I feel the same way as you, explicits and all!

Thanks for putting this out there Ray, I think your voice carries incredible weight in the community as it should, you've went over and above to support everyone and Stax, believe me it doesn't go unnoticed.
We do have an exceptional core group of members that are incredibly supportive.

Ray, it's nice sometimes that you explain things this way. Being fairly new to #steemsilvergold some of the Staxx related posts, upvote percentage posts, and technical terms of the #ssg group are a little over my head, since I wasn't there at the beginning. ( I only recently figured out that @phelimint ran the bot.) It takes me a little while figure it out, but I will, and hope to participate more. Right now, I need to get my voting power back up. I got a little too upvote happy at Christmas haha.

It is an awesome community. Unused to make an effort to support all the members, but never got much love back. The few that give the love, I try and go back to visit.

Spot on there @raybrockman I know I would still be here if @silvergoldbotty didn't exist. I don't rely on her upvote, I hope that the quality of the stuff I post brings in members to upvote. Like you said, she's a bonus to have and I have given everything I have to her from the very beginning. I'd love to be able to vote on all members blogs and by giving to her it allows me to do this.
Plus I second the thanks to @phelimint it must be so demanding to do a day's work and then spend hours sorting out stax

An automatic $0.13 minimum vote is amazing for all members, i feel a bit guilty getting a 5% as ive not been as supportive as i should have been, but a new year will be full steem ahead (sigh) and stax is amazing, we are all very lucky but its easy to forget how much. I love everything about this lost. We used to have a saying in wow. Less qq more pew pew. Quit crying and get to work. It's funny how those who do the most work in most of these communities are the ones that never complain. If you're not working as hard as @phelimint quit crying.
