$1.20 premium, over spot, is a great deal. I don't know what the Royal Canadian Mint charges, their Authorized Dealers, but, the US Mint charges $2, premium for bullion Eagles, so we pay even more. But, $2 premium, over spot, covers minting machines, dyes, Artists, employee's salaries, shipping/handling, transporting products, etc...
