VALENTINE'S GIFT

Hi everyone! I'm here again to show my little talent in drawing. Gisselle is my subject today, she's a girlfriend of adrinel (my Godson). Adrinel asked me me a favor to draw Gisselle for his gift in the upcoming valentine's day.

I'll show you the process and how it is done.

First, I draw a patern of the face. I use it to make my drawing easy, I use soft pencil to quickly erase. It is one of the important parts of the drawing but it is also a boring one hahaha just kidding. :)

Next, the eyes, this is one of my favorite part of drawing because you can see here the life of the face that I've been draw. I used 8B staedtler pencil to make sure my work looks good in the eyes of other people.

Then, the nose and mouth, This is the part of the face that I'm very struggling everytime draw it. Sometimes I did it over and over again because of some details that its hard for me to draw, it takes a long time for me to make this part more realistic and it becomes a challenge for me to further improve my next drawings. :)

After doing the nose and mouth, I put a little detail on the shadow I used charcoal powder, tortillion and brush. I used the brush to spread the powder in the clear part of the shadow and I used the tortillion in the dark side of the shadow. it's one of the leisurely parts of my drawing. I prefer parallel stroke to make sure that the shadow will not look messy.

For the final touch, the hair and clothes, for me it's one of the interesting part of drawing because you just do it up and down until it's okay that part of the hair you make. I use an eraser for the clear part of the hair and for the details of the dress I use only 8B staedtler pencil and brush. At the moment I can not afford to make a realistic dress but I'm in the process of studying it.
