Introduction

What is your passion? I have to ask you this because it is critical to your survival here especially as a minnow or a red fish. The truth is that those who are not passionate about what they do often fall prey to emotional break down as a result of poor level of satisfaction.

During challenging period, folks that are not passionate about what they do easily fall apart. For you to advance in steemit, I will urge you to take sometime to rediscover yourself. Ask some pertinent questions that only you can answer.

What forms your passion? Are you passionate about blogging? What aspect of blogging are you passionate about. If you can genuinely answer these questions, then you are in for further advancement.

What Is Passion?

Passion can be defined as a) intense, driving, or overmastering feeling or conviction e.g
with enough passion to make a great poet.
b) a strong liking or desire for or devotion to some activity, object, or concept e.g. a passion for chess, a passion for opera 1

Passion makes a whole lot of difference. You are not likely to be easily discouraged in a venture you are passionate about. As a new steemit blogger, your passion will give you leverage if you stick to it and do it with all your heart.

My Thoughts

You must be passionate about blogging to survive here in steemit especially as a minnow or a red fish. It is important that you face the area of blogging you are passionate about. Even if it is not fetching you a lot of money now, with time you will breakthrough.

I have seen folks here switch from one aspect of blogging to another because they think that that other aspect they are passionate about is not yielding them enough money. This on itself is a problem. Someday by the time you get back to that blogging channel you left for another, you will see that some folks you left behind there have grown more than you. And again, because you are not talented in the new place you went to, you will continue to struggle for survival there.

If you are a photographer or you are passionate about photographing, it will pay you to establish yourself as a force in steemit photography. If you are a movie maker why not stick to making movies, at the long run it will pay you.

It is also worthy of note that some folks are multi-talented and can blog in different aspects of life. That is also welcome. The keyword here is actually on being passionate about what you do.

Conclusion

What is your blogging passion? What makes you happy when you share it with others? Are you a story teller? Are you a tailor? Are you a barber? Anything you are good at and passionate about is what you can benefit most from if you start blogging about.

Well I'm not a photographer & I'm definitely not a blogger but I love to read & look at beautiful photography. I also like to comment my thoughts & if so give a lil advice if I can..... Nice write-up.

I agree with you; then reading and cherishing with commenting becomes your passion. Just do it well and you will make steemit a better place while steemit also smiles on you.

The beauty of STEEMIT is that if you find blogging too much you can always peruse the work of others and give your opinion on it or try and add to the debate in the comments section and you'll STILL make money ...genius.

My passion is to create, to draw, paint, take shots and edit them, but most of all, my passion is about joyfulness and happytude, so this is kinda heaven for me here as everysoul is open to joy and gleefulness and to any reason to smile and have fun...I can let myself be what it wants to be and give what it wants to give, and it allows anyone to do the same, and as I give lovely elated energy, I receive the same amount tenfold in return ^_^

Thanks for an inspiring post. Yes, it is all about passion that will eventually translate over to the posts.

Thanks for your kind feedback. Yes it is all about passion if you do not want to give up along the way.

Great advice @yourhelper. There are a lot of people, me included, new to Steemit, and new to blogging and not sure where their niche or what they're good at is. The key I think is perseverence. Do it because you want to learn and enjoy doing it. Don't stop because you're not being rewarded. Most importantly don't compare yourself to others and measure your worth against their success. Just keep going, you'll eventually grow a following of like-minded people who enjoy your work as much as you do. Then you will have found your niche... well kind of.

Well articulated. I could not have said it better. Kudos and steem on!!!

I agree with You. Without passion will not move forward. Or break down the road to the goal =)))

Wow, that's a good advice. Do what you are passionate about. But unfortunately for me, I just write what comes to my mind. I'll say my posts don't belong to a particular niche, but very diverse, like my own experiences, society, steemit etc. Do you think this post of mine is a good quality post:

There is room for such blog so long as you enjoy doing what you are doing. Over time, you will create a niche for yourself.

Food and photography and all things homesteading. That's what we do. That's what we want to share with the world. Passion and compassion. And Rum! :)

I have several passions: art, photography, natural healing and eco-sustainability, that merge into the one passion: To live a life where I can share beauty and the magic of harmony and balance.

I have been doing this, visually through my art making and photography. And now ~ Thanks to Steemit ~ I am verbally describing my creative processes, so that my passion for writing is really coming to my attention.

After sharing a recent work where I used glass to separate 2 layers of an assemblage, I thought it would be interesting to go back to when I first used glass to separate layers within a work. I couldn't believe it was actually 15 years ago.

There is something about this 15 yr old work that connects significantly with my current art work. And although on first impressions it may seem a little obscur, I've used the format of 'You See ~ I See' to clarify this.

I would be ever so grateful if you can review: The Waterfall of Life. Original Photography.

Have just posted another article that relates to my earlier work.

Although more and more people are seeing 11:11, my portrayal of it may still seem on the obscure side for many people. Which is why I'd really LOVE you to review:

'11:11 and the Earth Element'

Fantastic advice and I have to say that I've taken it on board.
