PUBG Mobile Reveals the Launch of Upcoming PMCO 2020 Spring Split
PUBG Mobile just revealed in its Twitter handle that they will start taking registrations for the Spring Split of 2020 PUBG Mobile Club Open (PMCO) tournament very soon in January. The PMCO is a tournament organized by Tencent Games, VSPN, and PUBG Corporation and sponsored by VIVO that invites players across the world to participate in the same and get a chance to win a huge amount of Prize Pool. In 2018, the tournament was known as PUBG Mobile Star Challenge.
The PMCO 2019 saw a prize pool of $2.5 million. The finals of the Fall Split of the tournament took place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia at the end of last year (November 29 to December 1). A total of 16 professional teams from 10 regions had participated in the tournament on the global platform. A total of 18 matches were played in the prelims and 16 matches in the finals.
From India, Entity Gaming and Team Soul had participated in PMCO 2019 Fall Split. Among them, Entity Gaming ended in 5th position with total prize money of $12,000 and Team Soul ended in 12th position with total prize money of $8,000. The top three teams in the tournament were Bigetron RA from Indonesia, TOP Esports from China, and MEGA.Conqueror from Thailand, which won prize money of $205,000, $105,000, and $55,000, respectively.
We have recently come across the leaks of upcoming Season 11 of PUBG Mobile. The leaks suggest new rewards and cosmetics for the players with the two Royale Pass categories – Elite and Elite Upgrade Plus. The game developers will unveil the new Season with the next 0.16.5 update that is expected to roll out next week.
