Lots of us, Steemers, are Serial Writers.
This very post is part of a Serie gathering Hints and Tips on how to better use Steemit blogging platform.
And, as Serial Writers, we want to help our followers finding other posts from the same Serie.
For this, we have several options:
- Create a Landing Page for the Serie.
- Harvest existing Steemit features.
1. Create a Landing Page for the Serie
Create a new post in which you list all the posts you wrote in that Serie.
Pros
- You have a lot of flexibility in how you display the list of posts
- You may add an introduction to your Serie
Cons
- Maintenance work
2. Harvest existing Steemit features
One of the features provided by the Steemit Platform is to tag your posts.
Once a post is tagged, you may access the following URLs:
- NEW: https://steemit.com/created/grooviz-steemitht
- TRENDING: https://steemit.com/trending/grooviz-steemitht
- HOT: https://steemit.com/hot/grooviz-steemitht
Pros
- Easy Maintenance, you just have to add a specific tag to the posts of your Series
Cons
- You loose in Flexibility
- No introduction to your Serie
- This landing page is not considered as a post:
- No way comments on the whole Serie
- No votes nor reward on the whole Serie
3. Use both
We decided to use both!
That way, we keep the pros from both options while avoiding all of the cons.
For each of our Series, we will provide a Landing page with an Introduction to our Serie and links to the NEW, TRENDING and HOT posts withi that Serie.
