HODL in crypto is excellent, but holding a grudge against another only causes more suffering.

Buddha is credited with saying, "Holding onto anger is like grasping a hot coal with the intent of throwing it at someone else; you are the one who gets burned."

Forgiveness is "to cease to feel resentment against an offender, or to grant relief from payment."

  1. Remind yourself that you made a choice to love this one person, among the sea of others.

  2. Everyone is flawed and no one is perfect.

  3. Tell your loved one the things that you appreciate about them and focus on the positive characteristics.

  4. Deepen your friendship and lessen focus on flaws.

  5. Accept that you can not change a person, grieve it, and let it go.

  6. Reconnect and recommit to your loved one.

  7. Learn to give yourself a break when you make a mistake.

Forgiveness towards others AND for oneself is a great healing tool to let go. Ultimately, we are all One, so when we don't forgive ourselves unconditionally, we don't forgive others unconditionally and vice versa.

Thank you for your beautiful brief snippets! :)

Thank you so much for sharing your perspective that we are truly all "one"

There are times when the only thing you need to do is to forgive those who offend us as that is when there is true fulfillment

Absolutely, it allows us to fill ourselves with more positivity that will ultimately enhance our lives for the better.

If you could forgive.....then that is great. But some cases it is not that easy, especially within the family relationship.

Difficulty depends on the situation and the people involved. And yes, the closer the relationship, the more difficult it may be. Regardless, it is still best to forgive so that you can have better energy and happier life. I appreciate your comment.
