Steem power? More like the super power to influence

If you notice the rewards for steemit, there is an option for power up 100% and there is an option for 50/50 split. So I will answer exactly how steem power works here.

Think about steemit as a school. There are the cool kid and the average kid. With steemit power, you are the cool kid. You gain more influence, you bring people more money! (You probably gain more money by up voting as well)

Here is a explanation from the FAQ section of the sight. Let's say you have 200 steemit power, you are not bringing as much value to people by up voting as someone with 10000 steem power.
