I don't believe I have had a long enough test period to have vetted this approach thoroughly for two reasons:
I have only been on SteemIt for a little over a week. (Still Enjoying 1000* returns over the book of faces).
I use SteemIt for approximately 1 hour a day.
In short, it will probably take me longer to ramp up than some other users. This is expected as my time is limited by work, 2hours of commute time a day and responsibilities to livestock on our farmstead.
Outside of SteemIt, I would say this logical systematic approach has been 100% effective in my experiences.
