Steemit Failed and Needs Change

I'm probably the average Steemit user. I bought steem and used it to gain influence to post real estate articles. I never really did receive traction and while I would go strong for 30 day stretches I was not as committed by the others. Maybe I'm naive or even ignortant on this subject so feel free to provide good article posts in comments.

I admittedly became discouraged by the high rewards the stakers seemed to receive. Got frustrated how those who were rewarded mightily kept rewarding themselves and the other witnesses with big votes while the average guy struggled to be noticed.

I appreciate the people who worked hard on making this a better project. I still believe a blockchain such as Steem could be a game changer. I personally, maybe ignorantly, welcome TRON to takeover and make changes. I've seen almost no visible improvements in Steemit in the 4 years I have had an investment in the platform. Yes, I only invested hundreds not thousands (plus) but I know if less self interest and more community interest was the focus then Steemit would be much more valuable and influential of a platform.

I haven't spent hours reading all the articles. It is actually interesting how a blockchain can be hijacked. After 5+ years of being in existence the community should of improved the platform and security instead of creating self funding bots to make them rich.

Now the steemit rich are complaining that someone richer is controlling everything unfairly. Isn't that how the minnows have felt this whole time?

here to help restore the decentralization of Steem. The Steem blockchain is currently being attacked by a central authority in order to take control of the witnesses. If you are not managing your witness votes, please consider setting @berniesanders as your witness voting proxy by clicking

I do not believe the witnesses have NOT improved this system as we empowered them to do so. I'm willing to see if TRON does improve the platform. I abstain and will see how the process plays out.

Just read a very good post educating me better. Sounds as if the negotiations between Justin Sun and Ned may not have been transparent. Now, the investment is under water and he is trying to figure out how to not lose a fortune and the developers are leaving by the power play Justin did to try and gain more control of his investment. This could be a mess. However, I still believe this has been a mess for a while.

I guess we all should of left when the other founder left to be more involved with EOS.
